Easy connect, easy setup

The internet service provider was contacted with the MAC ID which was then activated. Updated the SSID and password for all my device and presto; all finished. The dual band signal is the best I have experienced. Fantastic purchase and for the price it will pay for itself in a few months.

Not as good as expected

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought we were going to get better connection using this modem instead of the cable companies and it was no better. I feel I should not have bought it and just gone with the modem from the cable company. It isn’t cheap either!

Iam using this as a modem only as i have a separate router. I did turn on the wifi just to test it in case i need a backup, the range and signal were kind of weak.

Great replacement for Comcast rental

It is dual-band, AC3 and cost about $119. Very happy with it as the setup was very easy (all online, did not have to call Comcast), coverage is great (our house is a Cape) and band 5 speed is much faster than the previous Arris TG862. Recommended so far.
