This device is fantastic ! I upgraded my Xfinity line with 150 MBPS bandwidth recently. Wanted to avoid monthly modem rental with a affordable Netgear solution.

The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't work with my wireless printer. It's a hassle trying to get it to print and that didn't happen with my old modem. Other than that it's great!

It does its job - no frills. Not the greatest if you have tons of walls, but for a home with minimal walls it works and connection speed stays pretty consistent.

Got rid of our rental modem and old wifi unit with this. This met our needs except it didn't have the phone line connection. But only get soliciting calls anyway!! Good riddance to them!

I bought this so I don’t have to keep renting a box from cox. This worked well for my home but I returned it bc it doesn’t have the phone jack I needed for my home phone.

I love this router. I really got a lot of bang for my buck. It allows everyone, plus our tvs, satellite, and Hughes net to connect without anyone being dropped. Wonderful tool.

I bought this router rather than renting one from Comcast month after month. It is a modem and router in one. It has already paid for itself! No problems whatsoever!

Easy set up, slightly stronger bandwidth and love that there's an app to give you more control over your netgear router. Change password change your network name etc

I only needed a first floor coverage area. My google Hub is only 25-30 feet away from it and it buffers the news feed. I would recommend for very small areas only.

I was able to eliminate the cable modem, my goal is to be rid of cable and this is getting me closer. I had to call the cable company for some help, but that is due to my inexperience.

I've had the NetGear AC1600 router now for over a month. I am very satisfied. It was very easy to set up and have uninterrupted service since. I would recommend-

i like this router/modem combo. too bad its spotty at best. when i have company over it cant seem to handle more than 5 or 6 devices at a time. that was the reason i got it.

I'm happy with it, I get to save 10.00 $ off my cable bill, wifi is very strong upstairs and downstairs.

For some reason I get great speed for 5 gh but for 2.4 I don’t not even half of what I’m suppose to get

This router we went with was the cheaper one because it's used more for a smaller area. It is "ok" if you only use it for internet not streaming videos.

Replaced my motorola router since apparently you have to upgrade every few years to get the fastest speeds. This works great, my slow connection issues are gone.

I noticed a negative difference in connectivity and performance when we switched from our cable company modem and router to this. I am not sure if it’s this or if it’s our cable company honestly. It does a decent job- I seem to have to move around a bit to find faster signal. We have 3 users and a smart tv. We also have two levels on our home for reference. I’d probably recommend for the price but honestly think I’d go for a slightly higher price (hoping it’s better) unit next time.

I purchased this router to avoid paying the cable company a rental fee. I've had no issues whatsoever, and the dual-band is well worth the cost with a house full of electronics.

I got this last month and it has been working much better than my old router. I have more range in the house than before and much faster!
