it is at times a daily battle. I bought this 2/2015 and about 4 months ago I started to randomly lose both bands. The router looks like it is working (all lights on) but no devices can connect to it. Powering it off and on fixes the problem. But at times it seems like it happens at the most inopportune moments. And let me tell you resetting it is much more of a hassle than it seems it would ever be. Some would argue that 3 years (2.5 years) is about right for a piece of electronics that is on 24/7. But buying the highest end at the time that Best Buy had I expected more. Warranty was up 24 months ago. I paid $290.08 that day. Bought this, a pack of gummy life savers and Tax software. So I approximate on the low side i paid $230.00 for this. At $5 per month for modem rental back then, it would have taken me approx 46 months to break even.... 10 months shy /smh. And to top it off Time Warner now Spectrum will charge a provisioning fee if/when I buy a new one. I started to use an old router (E1200) for wifi with the this and it seems to be working right now. . So in summary works great but in my case it faulted out before it paid for itself. I can't recommend this based on my experience.

It’s upload and download are quicker for the internet service. Reliable but the actual casing is too big

We were having trouble with phones dropping wifi connection with our old router. Went online and Best Buy and found this one. After reading the reviews decided to try this one and it completely fixed the issue. I can now go outside anywhere on my quarter acre of land and have two bars. I gave a 4 star because there has been one time when I had to reset the modem. Otherwise it has done exactly what I wanted.

It is great!!! Easy setup, easy configuration, and a bunch of additional controls/options!! You can add a Network storage via flash drive. Which it can be accessed through the network OR via remote access online! Very nice option.all the info you need to set it up is on a little pull tab on the unit. All the setup options are accessible through the online interface. Great product and excellent range. Ohh and if there is interference you can change broadcast channels to enhance reception/ signal strength. I nolonger need a range extender to reach from my basement to my 2nd floor!! My entire house is covered. Also all my products that use the WiFi have excellent speed even while using multiple products at the same time!!!! Great product!!! Great buy!!! Top of the line & even better that it is an all in one product!! Cable modem & Router in one unit! Also compatible with the high speed internet offered by Xfinity & other providers!!

I was tired of using equipment from my internet provider (TWC) and was looking for something that would last a good amount of time and is hassle free..after research and reading reviews I opted for this modem and I am in peace. Notable points, - Hassle free setup - Easy administration - AC so connectivity is blazing fast - Internet speed has improved tenfolds - no more modem restarts(yes you heard me right lol) - No more calls to customer support for internet connectivity issues The only downside I see is the slow response of the administrative pages and outdated UI experience of admin iOS application. The modem height is huge but can be ignored. Invest. Save time and money in rental costs. Enjoy the speeds and connectivity. Recommended to everyone.

I like the ease of installation and it is simplistic and easy to set up. Also appreciate the performance of the mode, it'll get the job done. However, there were a connectivity issues with the mode. I called to Support Team. Netgear Tech. was insisting I agree to paying. I kept questioning her and asked how much. She said $119 for 15 mo. coverage. I became upset and I had returned it.

Was looking for something powerful and better than the standard Xfinity modem. Setup was straightforward and quick. Signal strength is outstanding. Placed it on the main floor and I have no signal loss on both ends of the house on the second floor and basement. The speed is awesome. would highly recommend it.
