I have had a few adapters, and this appears to be the best one I've had so far. Its a little bigger than a few smaller than a few others, but those smaller adapters felt really cheap as compared to this one. The installation user interface was easy to follow along and within 5 minutes you are up and running. The optional stand is nice as well.

I had this PC which I hadn't used for a while and of course, it never had a wireless connection. Since my laptop died, I decided to revive this PC and the wireless adapter did the trick. It's good enough to watch YouTube videos (although sometimes it lags, but I can get over that). No complains thus far!

I bought this adapter for a brand new PC that does not have wifi that is in my work space in my finished basement. My router is on the main floor of my house, and the signal has to travel through 12" of insulation in my basement ceiling (soundproofing for hard wood floors above). So far I've had mixed emotions with this adapter. When it is working properly, it's great. The internet is snappy when browsing the web, and downloads are reasonable. I've had some problems where it seems to turn itself off. I believe that this is happening when my computer goes to sleep, and the USB may shut off power. It comes back on when the computer wakes, but does not reconnect to the internet. I have to pull the stick out to reset it. The extended desktop cradle is really nice. I would give this 5 stars if it would maintain connection, and this may be my PC setup. Works with windows 10 although I did have to install the driver software from the CD; there was no auto install. Got it on sale for $29 so I'll deal with the inconsistency.

This adapter has done it's job for me since my Ethernet port went out in a lightning strike. The speed is fine for what I do, but the only problem is on a computer restart with Windows 7 I have to reset the adapter every time.

The adapter is a snap to install. We use it so that we can hook our PC tower up to a TV. Even though our wireless signal is at the other end of the home, this adapter is really fast. In fact, it even beats my laptop for reception. Best of all, if I get a new tower, I can just swap it out!

This has been, hands down, one of the easiest installs of a wireless NIC device I've ever experienced. Truly this was plug and play; you press the button on the USB NIC card, hit the button on your router and you're connected. It's that easy. The software set up easily and the device works flawlessly. I have great reception (full four bars at all times) at my desktop and our router is in the next room over. The internet's never dropped nor has it ever noticeably decreased in speed. The software is easy to use, too. Finally, I like the stand that came with the device and the device itself is a nice mirror piano coating. All in all, I would buy this again in a heart beat.

I purchased this after trying another manufacturer's. This works so much better and was absolutely easy to install. I use it in a room that is on the second floor of my house and my router is on the first floor. The connectivity is great. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this adapter to replace my Ethernet cord. I did this because our pet rabbit was chewing through our wires. This has a great strong signal as well I am getting great speeds from it. Barely can notice a difference from using the Ethernet.

I bought this item because the Wi-Fi card in my computer does not work anymore, and it is a Windows 7 machine. It worked almost immediately when I hooked it up. The installation of the software was a snap. A good value for the money.

I use Netgear, because of their ease of installation, range of operation systems, and consistent delivery. This adapter may not be the fastest on the market, but the N300 technology is as close to the fastest and longest range in available products, for a decent price. I've installed several Netgear products, and have probably seen less than 10% fail to operate at all, if not with constant throughput. I think it's also important that they will let you use the Wireless Zero Configuration service, which is easiest for most users to find and connect to wireless networks, unlike some of the weird apps that are out there.

My HP laptops built in wireless adapter failed after 5 years. Bought this and it solved my problem. Strong signal too. Super easy to set up. Plus it has great download speeds. Buy with confidence

I read reviews that this item was unreliable; however, I am glad to state that this is a good and reliable product. I have had no difficulties and I have had service wherever I go and my signal has not dropped.

It was easy to set up and fastand it worked on an older computer with absolutely zero problems. I would recommend this for anybody who needs Wi-Fi access without being super tech savvy

I bought this for my mom to use as a hot spot from home. She is in an area without high speed internet, except through cell towers. This was a good alternative for her, especially since she does limited streaming.

I had a laptop that would no longer connect to the internet using the built in wireless card. Easy install and the signal is very good. Only wish it would flip up so it didn't stick out so far from the laptop.

I already had a Netgear router and the set up required a simple button push that mated the adapter with the router. The connection is dropped occasionally, but is remedied quickly by simply unplugging the adapter and plugging back in.

Very easy to install and works like a charm. I had a little help but the software instructions were easy to follow for installaton. Once installed received a very strong signal.

This thing works perfectly and seems to have very good range for the distance that the router is from the computer. It was a quick and easy install and I am very impressed with the signal strength I am getting.

This was purchased when my son's internal wi-fi stopped working on his laptop and it was on sale. He is saving for a new computer, so we figured this would be usable for several things rather than replacing the internal component on one computer. Set up was simple, just plug it in to a USB port. The stand was nice and the cord is long enough to keep it out of your way. The connection speeds are excellent. This is used in a corner room in the house. His connection is much better than with the internal wi-fi card and he is getting 52 down, 27 up over 2.5 Mhz wifi channel from our Asus router. This is faster than our other laptops without N standard wi-fi. (average 29d/25u with 105Mbps service). Overall very happy with this purchase.

Needed a network card for an older computer. This was an easier and much more economical than any other solution. Works better than others I had including hardwired solutions (in the case) Highly recommended
