have you ever spent a weekend watching local tv.three days of boredom.direct tv went out so i bought this for extra channels. and i can get netflix plus hulu. also some other channels.it was perfect lots of extra channels. and some regular programming. plus old and new series and movies.my blu ray player was happy. would recommend this for a cheap fix on tv

I GOT THIS MAINLY FOR THE CINEMA-NOW APP,I DON'T CARE FOR THE APP ON MY BLU RAY PLYR.THIS BOX IS GOOD FOR STREAMING THE POPULAR APP'S-I LOVE IT SO FAR....

It doesnt have a lot of content that I use on it except Hulu Plus and Netflix. But all in all it works how its supposed to but the remote could be a little more user friendly when navigating the menus.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas along with a subscription to Netflix and they absolutely love this product. Very easy to set up and it has a button on the remote for the popular apps.

Decent product for the $$. But the remote has to be pointed directly at the device to work sometimes.

Did not work well at first but then I replaced my wireless modem and it works great now. Easy to use. Have only used Netflix and Pandora so far but have had no issues. I would recommend this item.

Works great for streaming Netflix, easy to set up. Only drawback is the limited amount of apps available. As of right now, no hbo to go.

Netgear NeoTV is a good media streamer and works great with an Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection for resolutions up to 1080p. However, it has very limited functionality not going much beyond just streaming. There's no expansion port and users can only connect the device to a TV via an HDMI cable. NetGear NeoTV has YouTube built in and outshines the Roku in that aspect. Overall, a decent streamer at a great price.

Easy to set up, standard set of features, good picture quality. Excellent streaming device for beginner. Netflix is a must.

The setup was extremely simple. This product is very user friendly, allowing easy operation for all ages. Has many different streaming apps and services available. Decent price, but could have been a little cheaper since you have to get your own HDMI cord. Otherwise this product is fantastic for simple tech users.

We saved so much money by buying this to change our present tv into a smart tv. If we had not found this, we would have spent over $500 buying a new tv. This was such a bargain and did just what we wanted it to do. I love it when a plan comes together.

I tried a chrome cast first and after 45 min.and a lot of swearing I still hadn't gotten it to work.So I went back to the store and purchased the net gear.Had it up and running in under 5 min.great product.

Does what it is advertised to do, gave it 4 stars because had to go through 3 units till I got a good one.

Overall we're happy with the Netgear NeoTV product. However, when we took it out of the box it required many updates (which is to be somewhat expected). The problem was that it would download the first update and then have to re-boot before it would start the next update. Given that there were at least 3 updates pending, and each one downloaded slowly (due to the size of the update, not due to our connection which is fast) it took an entire afternoon to get all of the updates together before we could use the thing.
