Overall a good experience, I had a Roku before this, lost the Roku remote control, did not want to order a brand new device for the tv that we don't use much in the guest room. It works, but if you are use to a Roku, you will miss it! I had couple of connection issues, called support, they sent me on a goose chase, then told me to return the device. I reset everything and the device started working again., So kept it and so far it is working fine.

While it doesn't come across as much of a quality component like Apple TV, it certainly operates just as well. And for those who lose their remotes (like my son already has), there is a smartphone remote app! Great budget streamer for the novice! The only real downside is that there are many outdated apps, like CNN, that haven't been updated in a year+.

Works great, I could watch videos with no problems and very easy to set up. And also other streaming players require for you to put a credit card number but not this one which is great!

I have an AppleTV so that is what I am comparing this to. This device is MUCH slower when navigating menus. But for $50 that is to be expected I guess. The menus are not as well designed as the AppleTV but I can get past all of that if it actually worked. Netflix seemed to work OK but Hulu Plus froze about 50% of the time while transitioning to the commercials. I tried this over a 2 day period and got so frustrated with it that I had to return it. The box was hardwired to my netwrok that did not was not the cause. Tested Hulu on my AppleTV2 and it works flawlessly. All in all spend the extra money for the AppleTV, the experience is much better.

this item is so easy to use. Makes it nice to be able to stream movies and music on the tv instead of trying to watch on computer. it doesnt spend alot of time buffering like on my tablet which can be so frustrating. I would and do recommend this item to friends and family

Picked it up as a cheap alternative to Roku or Apple. It was easy to install and it has great picture quality and doesn't buffer as much as some other ones

We liked the price, but find that reception is not the best. I don't want to ding it too bad as some of connectivty problem can also be wireless network. But we have computers on that network and never have issues. It work well most of the time and for the money it's about what I expected. If buy it again, and may for another room!

Bought this for my parents, and they love it! It's a great alternative to buying a gaming console if you want access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. My parents are not the most tech savvy people (especially my dad) and it's very easy for them to use and navigate.

Easy to setup/use. Has 6 one-touch buttons (Netflix, Pandora, etc) for easy opening of apps. Doesn't allow streaming of media on local network (ie. can't play movies/music off my network server/computers.)

I bought this product to use to stream netflix. It works well for that but it does run a bit slower than my xbox did when I used that to stream. A bit choppy but overall works well and is cheaper than a Roku or Xbox live subscription. Just make sure you have an HDMI cord because it does not come with one.

Does what I wanted, easy hook up, had to go online to figure out TV settings.

This is a very good product especially for the price. Very reliable and has all the streaming media functions I need; vudu, Netflix, Hulu, and a ton of other things. No iTunes or some other functions the higher priced models offer but with more options for connectivity it is much easier to attach an ipad direct to an HDMI port. I chose this for it's streaming abilities and being made by netgear helped that decision. They have a long standing name in the wireless router industry so I felt this would be one of the best options for maintaining reliable connections. I love this product. My wife and I replaced our PS3 with this and a blu ray player and couldn't be more happy!

This product is okay, like the fact that the range from my room upstairs to the router downstairs doesn't seem to be a problem. What I'm not likening is that there's a limit to the channels where as the Rolu has manyany more to offer. Upgrade the channel selection and you'd have a great product!

It is extremelly slow and losses connection often. I like the way you move through different types of connection and it is easy to connect

Not a bad choice for a cheap way to access the net for your TV

I bought this so I could watch my Slingbox. It is the one of the few that have a slingbox app and the cheapest of them. The remote can lag a little and the iphone app remote does not always connect correctly. But worth the purchase. Also, they match any price so check other sites, including Amazon, and get some money off. That's what I did.

Good value for money, does it's job with Netflix. Not the best player in the market but for the price you are getting a good tool.
