Fantastic speeds and even better range. Rock solid connection with beam forming, if you have that option on your wireless router I suggest that you definitely utilize it.

Set up was easy, plug and pay with a driver download. Works perfectly and stable on the network, picked up a fairly weak signal. Very happy!

Purchased a desktop with no wireless no need to worry this Wi-Fi adapter works great I highly recommend it turn a non-Wi-Fi desktop into a Wi-Fi speeding PC

I recently purchased a new HP desktop computer (not from Best Buy) and from the beginning the built-in WiFi adapter was flakey, frequently dropping the connection for 3-4 seconds. I tried the usual fixes (updating drivers, etc.) but nothing made a difference. Rather than return the computer or take it somewhere for a repair (because it now had lots of personal files on it) I decided to purchase a USB WiFi adapter, After some research I decided on the Netgear Nighthawk adapter and I'm glad I did. It was easy to set up and I haven't had a single dropped connection since I started using it (30+ days). I'm not a high bandwidth user - no gaming or streaming - but it's capacity has been more than adequate for my needs. Overall it was a great purchase which solved my problem.

I don't like using WIFI adapters for one reason only and that is because the connection is never stable when on WIFI with anything. This WIFI adapter picks up very well and stays stable, however there are times when you'll boot up the PC and the adapter has trouble connecting all but after restarting the PC it usually reboots itself and works again. I don't think that would be a reason not to buy it because so far this is the most stable out of all other adapters I have tried.

Fantastic and outstanding upgrade to my old 2013 Wifi Adapter... Huge speed and connectivity difference. Highly recommend this.

Had to get one because my motherboards ethernet slot went out and its pretty fast for being wireless. Gaming competitively isnt bad either(averaged like 50ish ping on CSGO). Wired is obviously the better route for games but if you need this to hold you over while you get your ethernet troubleshooted or something it should do the job.

Reliable product that was easy to set up. A little bulky on your laptop.

Nice and fast, but a bit bulkier than I expected. Still good though.

Had a friend log in remotely and fix my slow connection. Thought I needed a new composure and turns out just needed a usb wireless adapter. Never been faster

Reception and speed are fine but seems to lose connection once and while and often on a reboot it takes a good minute + for it connect to the wireless network.

This is working so much better than the last adapter I had. We are in a rural area, so do not have a lot of options for internet. We are fiber, but it's not great. This adapter has been able to keep up with the many cycles of the server that seem to happen. The last one would always drop and would take several steps to get back up and running and hope I hadn't lost any data or files that I was working on. I've only had that happen with this adapter on a really windy day.

I bought the adapter since the wireless usb adapter our computer came with was not able to connect to our modem due to the distance. There were other wireless adapters more expensive, but I chose to go with this one and see how it worked. So far it's been working perfectly! Our computer does not have a CD port, so we had to download it. The process was a bit tedious - having to connect the new tower to our other desktop and run the ethernet cable from the bedroom to it. Once we did that the process was smooth, and we were able to move the tower back and connect the adapter with ease.

Used it for my new desktop as the built in wifi on the motherboard was getting weak signal, went from being unable to connect to the wifi at all to 300+ Mbp speed. Only problem is it requires Netgear software to connect, so it's a bit annoying to use that everytime. Good hardware but software is a bit lacking.

Works in a pinch. Got my wife connected after her motherboard, died and had to switch computers.

This is the Netgear WiFi USB Adapter. I bought it to add 5.0 capability to my laptop computer. I had bought an inexpensive laptop that only supports only 2.4 WiFi capability. This provides me with full use of my gigabit speed Internet access. It works very well. I like the connection stand and USB cable connection. It lets me put the adapter anywhere and optimize my signal. It’s an excellent product. As usual Netgear created a excellent product.

No installation or connection issues. Very easy to set up. Speeds are on par with my current router limitations and the stand is very handy if needed.
