Easy to set up. Nice upgrade to take advantage of the higher speed internet we were already purchasing. Great having one unit instead of two pieces of equipment.

This was an upgrade from the NETGEAR - Dual-Band AC1600 Router with 16 x 4. Realiable signal and amazing range. Good for multiple devices. Get the warranty just in case.

Needed this for my business wifi internet. My carrier charged a monthly fee to use theirs.

Very good one, easy to install and fast it covers my entire house and we have about 5 equipment linked to it and still have fast wifi.

I'm still undecided on this combo router/modem. I had an older combo router/modem from a different brand that did drop connection on occasion, but seemed to work well--just not with the faster speed I currently have, hence, the upgrade. I haven't really had any problems with this newer model, but I feel like I am not getting the speeds I should and the connection doesn't always stay connected with every device (though that could be due to the age of the device). I don't think there is a wireless modem/router that works flawlessly at a decent price point. I have a 1100 Square foot house and it reaches everywhere in my house with no dead spots including my yard, sunroom, and garage with much faster speeds that I am used to. So it works. Just not as amazingly as I had hoped.

This modem works just like advertised. Very fast modem to match my fast internet. Good price and ultra fast delivery.

This was a more expensive option but well worth the price. It works superbly. Also Netgear has really great passwords that are both unique and easy to remember.

It’s very easy to setup and works all major internet providers. It saves me $20 a month and easily covers my whole house and 17 devices at one time.

I had been using a wireless router and modem that were at least 5 years old... I've been using this for several weeks now and it seems to be working great. Easy set up and my only issue with it was when the power went out/surged.

So I will begin this review by saying that I am not a Tech Genius, but I do know a little more than the basics. I purchased this router to upgrade from my ISP provided modem and router. I used it for almost 3 years and finally got tired of the slow internet connection and low range quality of the router. So I did some research and happened upon this. I have always heard good things about the brand Netgear, so I didn't hesitate to decide to buy this brand but I did have trouble deciding which router/combo to get. I landed on this one since my speed is only 400mb/s, no sense in paying more for something I cant get the full potential out of it. So once I picked it up and got it home I figured the setup would be fairly easy. Boy was I wrong, it is difficult but mainly due to the fact that the app is buggy and you cannot properly connect to it through the app. So you have to access it through Google Chrome and set it up then you can manage it from another app called Netgear Genie. Which is pretty nice but it doesnt let you access all the features that are supposed to be available on the Netgear Nighthawk app, which was one of the main reasons I purchased this specific model. So all in all it did boost my speed and give me way better range, but having no app to access the main functions of the router really is a big let down for me. Also when you call customer service they hound you to buy their additional support bc it only comes with I think 90 days of support. I will say that the package they offer is worth it though bc it comes with a lifetime replacement warranty on the router no matter what happens to it. I will update this review once they (if they) fix the app and I am finally able to use it and the features.

I didn't want to pay for Spectrum's modem and router so looked at their approved list. This was one of them. I'm happy with the purchase - it was easy to set up. The only issue I had was I had to download an app to set it up but my phone gets poor service at my house. I did finally get it to work. I may need to get a wifi booster but that's due to the layout of my house, not the router itself.

If you want a cable modem/router that handles high internet speeds with no lag or buffering, this is for you! Worth every penny.

This was fairly easy to setup. password was on the unit and make everything easier. Works great with over 10 devices very easily. So glad Jay recommended we upgrade.

Our internet has been working great since we got this. It was also super easy to integrate with our Xfinity internet service provider

Had this up and running for about three weeks with Xfinity and haven't had any ossues! Easy to set up, attaches to all of my devices and runs smoothly.
