This is a major step up from our last router so it's a lot more capable than the previous one. It's very easy to set up, with the only exception being we can't seem to get the latest update to apply. Other than that it supports all of our many devices at a very fast speed. Everyone's happy.

The DSL modem from my ISP was good but years behind in features. I've always used stronger wireless devices connected to the DSL modem. The Nighthawk with DSL is a great solution. It connected to my ISP easily and has every modern feature you'd expect. The firewall is great and includes DOS attack warnings. My DSL speed is 5% better now and the WiFi covers the house with 5 bars in every corner. If you've just put up with your ISP modem for DSL, check this out.

I was able to turn my mediocre country internet into a beast with this device.

I installed it in the laundry room in the middle of an 80' house and it works very well at the farthest poins

I was having a lot of trouble getting my wifi to work with all of my devices. This took care of the problem.

I needed all the help I could get because I only have 1.5GB. This seems to help with keeping connected to the internet where I don’t have to reboot twice a day. I had to call their help line to get installed correctly but they were very helpful and patience. Glad I made this purchase.

Not sure if it is user error but it is slower than the 5g we had

Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want a separate modem and router. Good coverage in a large two story home.

I'm always resetting this router manually and it finally died just after 2 years, for $243 it should last a life time but it didn't. So I would say it's worth buying the extended best buy warranty.

This modem set up easily and seemed to be working OK, then took a nose dive and went off-line frequently. When it was online, it speed tested at less than 1MB/sec on a 20Mbps line. All attempts to contact Netgear were futile.

This allows us to stream video and our son can game at the same time. Easy to use and set up

This netgear nighthawk has been great fot our family helping downloads and streaming. We are very happy.

Installed easily, operates efficiently, A really great improvement over the xytel router from Century link.

I'm not a techie but I knew my CenturyLink unit wasn't cutting it. This one performs to my satisfaction and we haven't had any issues which makes me a happy customer. Highly recommend if your DSL providers unit has continuing issues.

If you are looking for a router\modem for ur home this is the one to CK out! We have not had WiFi for most of the past 9+ months! After dozens and dozens of phone calls to our provider, trying to get help & being told everything from it's because of dirty lines/ 8 different service techs working on our lines/ box. I was told to quit calling! When you pay $200 a month for wifi u expect it to work! Well now it does! Well worth the $$.
