I got this for VDSL to replace my CenturyLink modem/router. 4 hrs wasted with tech time on CenturyLink getting info (not supported) & their tech! The CenturyLink modem/router (latest & greatest 1100?) has 4 pages of info. The nighthawk only has 1 page! And couple of lines are irrelevant! No way to manually input the needed info. Why all of the problem? Because it wouldn't see my VDSL! The genie wasn't any help either. To me this is low tech & cheap. Asus is college to nighthawks elementary. I returned it after all of that time getting mad!

My old router was not comparable with my new laptop. This took care of the problem. My only complaint is that one of the antennas will not stay in the recommended position.

I purchased this modem/router combo in order to fire COX cable and use my new Centurylink service. I've had Netgear routers & such before with no issues until now. The modem/router would not set it's registry for Centurylink so I tried to get someone at Netgear to help with this problem. Come to find out, they don't want you talking to any live help (phone or chat) after two days of trying to get one of their people to help with no luck, I returned the modem/router. I'm done.

This router / modem combo was super simple to set up. I have had no problems with it at all. Best of all, I am now getting a much stronger and much more consistent internet signal. Overall, this product has made my internet usage more enjoyable for me. I highly recommend it.

I actually bought this because I thought my old modem/router had died. Turned out the real problem was with my ISP. However, since that problem has been resolved, I have noticed much better wireless coverage in our home and faster wireless speeds as well.

Purchased the WIFI router//modem for my home with Century Link internet. The modem is not compatible with Century Link, so had to purchase their modem.

unit is too big the tech support hard to understand did not just plug in took couple of hours to get installed

The only reason i considered spending this much was because the router supplied by Verizon was garbage. Now i have a stable connection without needing to reboot all the time. I thought this was Alexa enabled but app says its not supported...

After having to frequently reboot my ISP's DSL router/modem I gave up. On the advice of a Comcast tech I picked up this Netgear Nighthawk. It has solved my troubles ... runs weeks at a time without incident - I still have to deal the ISP issues :-(

Boosted my regular internet that I had to check everyday to one I don’t even think about. I used to come home to my family complaining about the connectivity of our internet. But since switching to this I haven’t heard a peep from them!

I bought this on the recommendation of the best buy employee. It works great, doesn't kick us off and is able to support our five iPhones, one iPad, three laptops and one desktop with no problems at all. Unlike our last wireless router this one is great.

i absolutelylove my new night hawk router because it's extremely fast. Upgrade from a old LINKSYS and its like night and day. The upload and download speeds are so fast. My Ping is good too :D

Easy setup. Solved range issues we were having with a Centurylink router. Combined this with an extender and now have coverage all over the house and yard, plus wifi to the pellet grill.

Finally able to get out from under the lease with Centurylink with a better modem then they supply

I purchased this because I'm locked into using CenturyLink and this was specifically for CL. The setup and router performance were fantastic. However, the main purpose (to use this as a modem/router instead of CL's low quality one) failed as it could not figure out it was hooked up to my DSL line. Hours with tech support didn't help either.

Good product. Definetly better than the getting a separate modem and router. Great connection speeds. No trouble streaming videos.

Great product. Distance covers whole house and into the yard. Had to change firm ware to oldest one to get to work with AT&T.

Sounded like my connectivity nightmares were going to be over. Sadly, not so. Don't know if it is the router or century link!

I have used the same router for a couple of years and have been mostly happy with it. Until recently when it stopped broadcasting on one of the bands. So I upgraded to the new model (v2). Unfortunately it just doesn't work as well. I put it in the same place as the last one and my laptop is in the same location but my wireless is questionable at best now and only about a third the speed.

I bought this to replace the broken one sold by the ISP. My connection is the fastest it's ever been now. I didn't realize that the ISP-provided modem was so slow, but this one allows me to get all the speed I'm paying for.
