We were having trouble with our local Internet never staying connected. With this device we have had no trouble.

It looks like a spaceship from the Star Wars, and it reaches further than the Empire! Rebels unite! This is the best Netgear modem router I have owned to date! Unfortunately the modem router is only as good as the service provider; I am saddled with CenturyLink, as my only other option here in rural Idaho is satellite. CenturyLink is easily the worst service provider on the planet. Until Netgear came out with this new modem router, I was stuck with the Actiontec/CenturyLink garbage. Those worthless hunks of trash never last longer than 8 months, then they just quit working, and CenturyLink says, "time for a new one." I literally have a stack of dead CenturyLink modem routers (4 of them to be exact, which I can attest - is a stack). I care about the environment, I don't want to fill my local landfill up with e-waste; CenturyLink knows their modem router is garbage, they won't even take them back, so there they sit, stacked on the shelf in the garage. After this last router modem went out, I thought I was done with CenturyLink and was ready to pony up for satellite; then I saw the Netgear router modem at BestBuy. I have had Netgear devices in the past and have always had a good experience with their quality and customer service, so I decided to give this one a go. Glad I did! Even though I have the worst service ever in CenturyLink, the Netgear router modem almost makes up for it with its speed and features and signal strength.

This antenna meets all my expectations. It works well in most weather conditions. Exceptions are naturally during severe weather conditions. I would highly recommend this product.

From what I've read about it. I just rush in not realizing that this device is for DSL and will not work with CABLE internet service.

I purchased this router in hopes of receiving a better signal than my linksys supplied by Verizon, The router worked fine the first few days I used it. Then I had to reboot it every day and finally several times a day. I followed the instructions about disconnecting the cords and the phone line etc. but it did not improve the performance.

This product has been a joy. I don't know why I waited so long to get it. Since installing it I haven't had any of the connection issues I was plagued with in the past.

Bought this to replace an older modem/router for my Century Line ADSL Firstly this is not that simple to connect to the ADSL and requires some technical expertise and messing with settings. The automatic configuration is worthless. The parental control system basically requires using OPEN DNS which kills download speeds and increases ping times x5

Nighthawk works wonderfully, tech support was very helpful with setup. Would recommend this for anyone with DSL internet, Has two qualities everyone wants, fast and reliable.

Pushed wireless internet thru out 3000 sq ft house

So far so good. My signal is not dropping in my house anymore. Keeping a close eye out.

Purchased to replace a Versalink 7500. Primary reason was to extend WIFI range. Had the Qeek Squad install and configure it. I was blown away by the increase in range.

Has helped some with the wifi but no huge improvement

We were experiencing intermittent failure and a constant weak signal. We bought this new modem along with the signal enhancer. Things are much better these days!

Overall the product does the job; however, the external antennas don't stay up.

Works great. I really needed this for my house. I get much better service and now I do not have to pay the monthly fee for the internet company's modem.

This has boosted my internet service - before my internet would not support all the wireless printers and computers but with the Netgear all of them are working

Good equipment besides loosing signal sometimes my son and husband got it for gaming

This is not a bad purchase. Faster than my old one.
