This was very easy to set up and a huge upgrade from my internet service provider device. I have had the Nighthawk for a month now and have not encountered any problems. The first thing you notice is the speed and range. I have the Nighthawk in my upstairs office on one end of the house and able to get a strong signal on all my tv’s and devices inside the house. I was still able to get a strong signal outside on my laptop as well. No flaws in performance flaws to date and no problems watching Netflix on my devices outside on the patio. You can’t beat the price considering there is nothing more frustrating than a poor performing product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone as I have purchased one for my parents as well.

I am the first to admit I am NOT tech savvy. But typically the wife or I can eventually get it figured out. But I found this product Not user friendly. The "support" I found was only a link to questions I finally just returned the product

I enedup returning this. I needed a modem with a wifi extender. I was told this would work. However it does not work as an extender I needed. I'm sure it's a good modem. Just not the kind that I needed.

When it worked it was good, started going bad after about six months, had to reboot it all the time, died after seven months. Can't say I could recommend it to others.

Had to return it. It wasn't plug and play and had to contact internet service provider and netgear took 6 hours of phone calls and problems to just return it.

We returned it we didn't need it the guy at the store tried to tell us we did so we bought it. Turns out we didn't need it at all

Had trouble with this from the start. It would connect to the internet until I installed a new firmware. It still didn't work after doing that.

This was an expensive lesson learned the hard way. Dropped signals and many other issues. Had to replace in less than 3 weeks.

I paid the geek squad 100 to install after his recommendation and now it isn't working and the geek squad wants 5o to come out again

Didn't work well at our location, bad reception, took back to Best Buy for a refund

All these reviews saying it's slow, it didn't work and it's not any good are absolutely wrong. I've had this since before it was released to the U.S. Market and I know for a fact the auto setup works fine and range is better than most all the old modem gateways. If it's not working then you've done something wrong. I stand behind most netgear products and I have several, from this modem router up to the night hawk R8500 AC5300 router.

This router/modem did not work for me and Best Buy would not take it back because the box was opened. Not a happy customer.

This is a great modem/router and worked well when I had a 12mbps connection speed with CenturyLink. After I upgraded to 40mbps CenturyLink required a dual bonded modem which the Nighthawk D7000 does not have. I spent two hours on the phone with Netgear, 45 min of which included CenturyLink tech support, but wasn't able to make it work.

I need to take this item back. Thank goodness I bought the service plan. It went bad after less than 1 month.

The thing might be great I don't know but nothing with Netgear supports a bonded signal. Garbage
