I had to return it because centurytel said it would not work with them. They said through their company I would only get 10mbps because it wasn't banded. But the small time I had it hooked up, it appeared to work fine. I'm told it is a very good one.

No issues in the first month of ownership. Very good coverage range as compared to my old CenturyLink modem/router. No dead spots anywhere in home. Handles multiple smart TV's and computers with no noticed impact to performance.

Seems to be working pretty well so far. Does struggle to go through walls and such but I have not tried any other model to have a good comparison.

A little pricey. Easy set up and excellent range. Would recommend.

Router is much faster than old one. Still have to use Centurylink modem due to Centurylink uses 2 lines to get faster speeds and this modem doesn't work with 2 lines, at least that's what I was told by Centurylink tech

This a really solid router with excellent range. Easy to set up and nice interface. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the antennas are little cheaply constructed, however that should have no effect on your decision to purchase this router. They unscrew and screw on easily if you need to transport the hardware somewhere.

We bought this modem when our standard issue modem from our internet service provider went out after a storm. This has worked great so far and even given us some capabilities that our old modem did not. Great choice!

This router is simply a fantastic upgrade from my previous router. The netgear control App interface is a bit dated but does what it should. The range easily covers a 2500 square foot house, yard, and two other houses in each direction, and keeps the kido from wrecking his cell phone data plan, and my wallet. My only gripe is my kido's best friend lives 3 houses down the street, so they will need to move closer. :) There is no detectable lag even when the entire family is streaming media including in laws, device type, smart tvs, cell phones and so on.

Did not work out of box. I have Century Link DSL service. Netgear customer service is terrible. They read a script and if it does not follow the script, they are lost. Spent 2 days trying to get it to work between Netgear, Century Link, and returning modem to store to get a new one....following the advice of Netgear. I was doing research on the net and read that the newest firmware is not compatible with Century Link. I mentioned this to Century Link and they immediately dismissed it. Just to be clear also, it was not one call to Netgear, it was 3. 1.5 days later and frustrated, I decided to try it...heck, what did I have to lose, I was ready to return the. Second router. As soon as I downloaded, dsl connection light came on router, setup wizard worked great, router is great, nice speed and incredible range. Hopefully this review will help someone else with Century Link get their router set up quickly.

I got this for my sister who was always complaining about her lousy century link service (which I provide so she can do work for me). I asked her to try connecting her laptop directly to the box and see if it was better - it was. So I decided to replace her century link modem with this one to see if it made a difference.... she is soooo happy now! She is no longer chained to sitting right next to the modem to work on the internet! Yay! It was also easy for her to set up with no help from me needed!!

A bit more expensive than the normal equipment but wireless coverage was much better and considerably faster than the old system I had in place. I typically see 1300MB connection on the wireless even with older wireless cards.

Fastest router I've ever had. Just the initial setup is a bit tricky, but after that you're on the fastest possible connection.

Provides excellent download and upload speeds and enough range to cover our house end to end. Easy installation.

I had this router setup in no time. It integrated nicely with my home network. This router is used to replace the CenturyLink router. I would give this a 5-star except for the fact I cannot find how to assign access curfews based upon MAC address and time. My ASUS router allows me to schedule a curfew for my teenagers devices by MAC address. That way they cannot change the IP address and circumvent any parental controls I have established. This Netgear router does not afford the same scenario.

Bought this unit to replace to replace a netgear router and netgear modem , two items which I had immense trouble setting up to work with each other. MY Internet provider supplies via an antiquated ADSL system and netgear is the only supplier handled by Stores in my area.This unit was setup in minutes, I have had no trouble since I've had it, works great, the price could have been a little less but than you get what you pay for and this item is ideal.....

This emits a strong, clean signal and covers a large area around my home. Supports many items being attached to the signal w/o a compromise of signal strength. I love the app that it works with.

The Nighthawk AC1900 provided incredibly strong signal, but was a little disappointed that it did not include a telephone extension. If you are looking for just a wireless router/modem I would highly recommend it.

Not quite the range I was hoping for as it does not cover my entire home and I had to purchase an extender. So far it’s been reliable, but range does not fit our needs. Was hoping for the price that it would be suitable for whole home use. It might be in a ranch, but in a 2 story it is not.

We have many Wi-Fi devices and this router handles all of them beautifully. We do not seem to have any lag time even with all devices online simultaneously. Overall this is a great device.

I bought this modem-router combo to replace an 8-year old ISP-supplied modem and free-standing router that frequently dropped the internet connection. It is pricy, but does the job well.
