Customers regard the Nighthawk EAX80 AX6000 WiFi extender as having excellent range and ease of use, with many praising its simple setup and ability to extend WiFi 6 networks. However, some users experienced connection issues and inconsistent performance, leading to negative feedback. The accompanying app also received criticism for its functionality. Good signal, Pain to setup with RAXE500

Not user friendly at least via night hawk app. I have this paird with a RAXE500 it was a huge Pain to make these work together, Finally got it if your stubborn. But not for the faint of heart. Has decent signal strength nd works great if you can get it to pair correctly. Im a pretty tech savy person, build PCs do all the home networking etc and I almost considered returning this. It could have been because of my pair with the RAXE500 and Link Aggregation. Outside of that I dont reccomend with that router, You may have better luck if pairing with a different brand.

The Nighthawk Extender EAX80 AX6000 is working perfectly with my router Nighthawk AX6000 RAX 120. The range of the wi-fi signal was improved and the shadow areas were removed.

Our Wi Fi is now at 5 G through out the house. We live in a 2,800 Sq ft. house. The inter-net is much faster since we installed the new Extender. We had an older model of Net Gear before. Am very happy with the new one.

This is a very capable device. My work computer requires a cable connection and the router is on the other side of my house. This device provides a very convenient high speed connection to my internet.

I needed a wifi extender with LAN port, then decide to go for this option. I truly feel like I have 2 modems in my house now because I had the wall plug type previously. This extender is paired with my xfinity xfi modem with gig speed, the modem is downstairs and the extender is upstairs. The speed of the extender is just as fast and I’ve had no issues since.

this product is very good. On a high bandwidth connection you really notice the Wi-Fi 6 tune up speeds greatly. But the Nighthawk app depending on the product can be easy or hassle to set up for DIYers.

I sat in Best Buy for 45 minutes looking at all my options. I did not see the device until I had made my decision. I turned around and saw this and instantly put back the router I had picked out. I already have WIFI, so this would cover the area of my dead spots. I have nothing bad to say now that it is hooked up. I have fast internet everywhere in my home now.

I only use Netgear and wanted a wifi 6 extender to replace my old one. This fit the bill! A little pricey, but didn't want to wait for it to go on sale.

This is absolutely the worst electronic purchase I have ever made. This review is for both the router and the extender. I have been using routers since the days of dial-up internet and have seen all shades of routers. I have owned from the cheapest to high end routers, but never have I seen such poor product in performance, execution, software or smartphone app. I am tech savvy and have tried every trick in the book but I can't get my Wifi to function properly. I have Spectrum 400 MBPS. Different speedtest show 100-300 MBPS download, yet my network keeps dropping, hanging and no app, software, website would open fast enough. Channels, locations, and what not tried. Also got the EAX80 extender to see if that would improve things, but except covering couple of weak spots, no benefits. The app is the WORST ever. Anytime you select something, be prepared to wait 2-3 mins. Simplest of actions on the Netgear app will take 8-10 mins minimum. It is moody and 80% of the time does not show the extender, so I can't change anything in it, except when the horrible app decides to detect it's own extender on its own network. I can go on and on.. but short advice. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

I purchase the netgear night hawk router rax120 and the 5Ghz signal is weak in my gym area where I spend lots of time there. I have a 43in. Samsung flat screen panel Sony ps4 pro and Amazon 4k firestick hook up wirelessly on 5Ghz bandwidth. With this with this mesh extender using the same ssid as main router I can truly say that streaming/gaming is fast with no connection issue using this mesh extender. I even purchase a second one to put on the other end of my house. Set up was easy.
