Got this to replace an Arris that died on me. The setup was straightforward. Instant improvement in speed and latency. Perfect for cloud gaming. I choose this because netgear is renowned for making quality products.

Traded my 2021 NETGEAR cable modem router for this new one and got the NETGEAR - Nighthawk BE18000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router to go with it. I was losing my PS5 remote portal connectivity to my PS5 Pro upstairs and this fixed it. My PS5 portal hasn't dropped once. I'm running 4 flatscreen TVs, 2 PS5s, 2 IPads, and 2 IPhones all on this one router's WIFI. So glad I updated!!

I purchased this cablem modem to replace an older Motorola Docsis 3.1 modem that wasn't giving me the speeds I was expecting. Installed this new Netgear Nighthawk cable modem and instantly started receiving the expected speeds! I'm paying for the 1.2Gb/s speed with Xfiniity and am pulling near 1.4Gb/s speeds down. This modem has been superbly stable and hasn't required any restarts either. I couldn't say that about the Motorola.

The Netgear CM3000 is very fast 3.1 modem. Easy to set up. I went from an Arris 3.0 modem and my speed increased.

The modern functions as it should with top speed, but pretty disappointed in my netgear router. setting up my network has been a pain due to buggy software and user interface that sometimes doesn't match the instructions. Armor hasn't worked. customer service is polite and compassionate which is about all I can say.
