I bought this router in recommendation of best buy associate. I needed router fast enough to handle multiple iPads and kids streaming activity. This router does it all very well.

I have several devices in my home that run off the wifi & this one runs everything without lagging. I always buy netgear routers & they always work great with easy set up.

This item was purchased as a gift to replace an old, underpowered unit. There was considerable trouble getting it operational but the company Customer Service was very patient and thorough. Now installed, the user is very pleased with the strength of signal and the fact it easily covers the whole house, unlike the unit it replaced.

The router is performing very well with the workload it needs to handle. Multiple handhelds/iPads, gaming consoles and desktops the family uses. Highly recommend this product.

Our old router would lag when more than one of us would try to access movies etc off the internet, We now can have all three of us using it at the same time with no issues.

I needed to upgrade my router because I have 10 devices on the Internet and my old router just could not handle that much. Now no problem with this router it's worth every penny.

We had a small router and needed better speed and signal distance. This router has done both very well. We also had more people using wifi and this keeps up with our family of 6.

I got this router to upgrade my N band router setup. I knew it would be more powerful. But I wasn't expecting game changing results! Can't recommend enoug.h

we replaced our outdated wifi and are pleased with our choice of the Netgear Nighthawk. it was easy to setup and has provided excellent signal strength all over the house.

Replaced a Nighthawk 1700 that was needing to be re-booted several times a week. Easy set-up with this one and Netgear software is a no-brainer to use. Easily changed id and password to match the previous router so no need to reconnect our devices. So far have not had to reboot even once. Nice boost in speed as well.

I have a multi-level hose and my previous router could not provide good coverage. This router has an amazing range and the interface is awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone.

So, I bot this to pair with a nighthawk modem, together they work great. If you want to future proof your speed equipment. These will do. No for the but.... Netgear switches don't like these or these don't like switches. I only own Netgear equipment, and have gigabit speed. From the pole to the modem = gigabit speed From the modem to a PC = gigabit speed From the modem to the router to a PC = basically gigabit speed From the modem to a switch to a PC = not even close to gigabit speed From the modem to the router to the switch to a PC = not even close to gigabit speed Somehow the switch (5 port gigabit gs305 or 308 it's not in front of me as I type this) throttles the speed down by more than half. Netgear has no idea how or why and chalk it up to compatibility. So, WhyTF would you make a widgit that should pass through data but throttles it down. Again Netgear has no clue. So.... there's your BUT, now save you BUTT and don't add a switch, Oh...make sure you have a pretty new computer, and you'll benefit from gigabit super speed! Happy surfing PS, most equipment out there don't know what to do with gigabit speed but that will soon happen.

Using speed test app, the AC1900 5G wireless speed via phone was 149 Meg and via pad was 179 Meg when testing from center of house; 5X over previous wireless. Works best when located on second floor to avoid passing inline through large obstacles. This had the best price to rated performance at time of purchase and proved true. Note that 2G speed was less than the 5G but has a longer distance signal.

Purchased this wireless router to upgrade my home network. Chose it based on online reviews. The Netgear AC 1900 is loaded with features and robust hardware but most of all it is an awesome performer. I simply followed the basic recommended setup and was blown away at how much better this wi-fi router perormed compared to the cable company's unit. Very satisfied with the Netgear Night Hawk AC1900

We live in a 3 story house and our media room is on the top floor. With this product we get great internet in the entire house including outside and in the 1st floor garage.

We live out of town in a 4 bedroom home with a basement. And every room needs WY-FI so its been working great now that we got the nighthawk.

Relatively easy to install. Works as expected. However, this is a factory replacement since the last one (same model) died within 90 days. We'll see if the issue persists.

Great router for computer, tv, gaming, sound system, etc. easy to install, great web site. Haven't used app yet but based upon ease of use to date; this should work well also.

The house I live in is 1 story & 1600 sq. feet or so. I get full signal strength in all rooms & the garage. Running multiple devices (2 TVs, 4 cell phones) and a security system with HD cameras. Easy to set up and works like a charm. This is one of the best investments I've made for my home.

This is powerful Wi-fi router that handles all our devices. Great recommendation from the sales associate. We've had it awhile and haven't had any issues.
