I had to replace my old Belkin router because it wouldn't broadcast a signal to all my devices. After mulling over all the choices, I decided on the this one. It's has a strong signal that broadcast through my home, is consistently connected and supports my internet speeds.

The LED indicators are bright. It’s been operating in 80-90F temp it’s whole life on an upper shelf. I’m able to stream music anywhere in the yard, as long as I have line of sight with the modem. To get a signal out at the street requires another unit to boost the signal over 100 feet. The dead zones around my house are likely from the signal being blocked by the aluminum siding on the house. Therefore, the Nighthawk X4S cannot provide the “shield of signal” as promised by the salesman. Having said that, this modem has performed flawlessly since purchase, and my ISP admits it is better than the modem they can provide.

I have a 2600 sq ft house and I have the router centrally located upstairs. It covers the whole house flawlessly and I can even get coverage in my garage about 40 feet from the house.

I have about 14 devices using this router. 2 amazon echo dots, 2 computers, 2 smart phones, an Apple Tv, a roku, harmony hub, harmony remote, smartthings hub, printer, qnap Nas drive, and an ipad. The router is tucked away in a corner behind my sofa and everything works without missing a beat. I bought this router because my old router had trouble sending signals through the walls. The setup was very easy and I've had it for about a month and have yet the need to reset it. I really like that it can be controlled by Alexa. I can tell Alexa to turn on or off the guest network and I can also tell her to reset the router. A bit more than i wanted to spend on a router, but so far it was worth it

My Centurylink gateway could not handle my 14 wireless devices in my house. I have always had Netgear products, after reading review after review I decided to go with the Nighthawk X4s, glad I did. Handles all my wireless, nothing drops anymore, streaming is also great.

I used to not get internet in certain areas of my house for various reasons, now with this thing it's a strong signal everywhere. Not only that, I get a faster signal too. Very easy to set up and use.

My older nighthawk died after 3 years so I decided to upgrade to this one. It has one additional antenna (older model had 3 antennas) and speeds are top notch. Took only minutes to set up.

Overall this WiFi router has great range and was quite fast in loading internet pages, downloading apps, etc. on computers and phones. I stream a lot of movies and am also a cord cutter and subscribed to SlingTV services. When streaming SlingTV channels, I had issues with buffering and freezing of the shows I was streaming live. I tried on an AppleTV hard wired into the router and over WiFi. I also tried on a Roku and both experienced the same issue. I had this router paired with an ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem so I know the modem is not the issue. I am also paying for 100Mbs cable internet. Hopefully others have better luck with this than me. I returned after two weeks of giving this a shot.

It does an adequate job, but not an impressive one. No "Wow Factor" here. Its wifi range or coverage area is simply better than some other big name brands. Expected a lot more for the high price tag. Would recommend to a friend if the price drops.

I had an Apple Time Capsule as my wireless router. The hard drive went bad so I bought the Nighthawk router. It's fast & has a powerful signal. It's easy to set up & that's all there is to it.

I like to play online all the time, with this router l've solved any connection problem that I had before, everything on pay-day2, Battlefield runs with no lag, talking about internet!!!

Our older router would lose our connection intermittently. This new router has not done that once. It's been steady and reliable for our multiple devices. It is a little big and bulky, and the lights on it are too bright. I have to cover it before sleeping.

Seems to have better (wider) coverage than older models, but not by much.

I must say this item has surpassed my expectations. The range is awesome

This router is a big step up from my previous wireless router. I upgraded my internet speed while still having my old router and I was only getting about 20 - 50 Mbps. This router I am getting just north of 300 Mbps and I am only on the 300 Mbps plan. Now I say that's pretty good!

I was looking to upgrade my Nighthawk EX7000. This resulted in almost the same speed and range so I ended up returning it. If I hadn't already had the EX7000, I would have kept it

Ok so first of all I looked for probably a week before finally pulling the trigger on this one. I read hundreds of reviews of probably 15 different routers. I have gigabit internet (1000 down, 250 up) and I wanted a router that could give me what I pay for and this router does. I got rid of my ISP router and went from 150 down on wireless to 515 without even having to tweak router settings or anything, just setting it up. My Xbox went from 40 down wired to 335 down wired. I have gigabit internet and I'm one of the few. I doubt many people have more than 1 gig for residential. This can handle my internet just fine.10/10!

Reliable router for gaming systems.Also can hold alot of devices.

Went in for a wifi booster...found out they're not worth the dollars and the best way to increase signal strength is to get a decent router. Easy setup and works great.
