I bought this router to take full advantage of all the internet speed I was paying for. Trained expert at store was very helpful in teaching me how to solve internet speed problem. Went back and bought better cable modem when this router showed the tech was right.

I was surprised how far this device can be detected. I would say it covers about an acre outside my home if placed near a window inside. It's all I need. Now if only I can get my Charter Internet services to quit going out I'll be great. But that's a different issue.

Bought this on a recommendation of a friend. Really knew nothing about it at the time of purchase, but get complements on it all the time when friends come over(!) Love it! So glad I cut the cable and bought my own equipment. Looks great and works even better.

tried many different routers before finding this one

I went to find something that would give us a better signal throughout our house and give better signals for our outdoor security cameras. Netgear did this better than I could have hoped for. There is no place in our house that doesn't have a great signal.

Works very well. A little expensive but overall very solid.

Works great especially because of the amount of devices we have hooked up.

I had an older Netgear X4 that was working great for three years until it decided to die. So I went with the step up version and I do not regret it. Downloads are faster over wired and wireless. Loos very similar to the X4 but overall faster.

It took some time to get this installed had to call netgear to help but so far it has been good wi fi speed did increase

The supervisor of the Best Buy department was very knowledgeable and said this combination of cable modem and router would outperform what I was renting from Comcast. She was very correct about this, and it did in fact outperform the rental substantially.

I'd had an apple router for about 5 years but started having issues. This router had great reviews and it deserves it. We have a lot of devices over 25 on our network. This router has been perfect.

I have been using Netgear routers for many years now and this one is the best one yet. Fast, fast, fast and easy to monitor and to maintain. A great router for someone that wants professional level performance without having the technical knowledge.

My husband is a hardcore PC gamer and I game every now and again. Our old router just wasn’t doing it with all the lag but this one is awesome! You can choose which devices it sends the internet to first and it has 2 internet speeds!

I bought this unit because I needed a stronger router in my house to get signals from the basement to the upper floors. This passes with flying colors, and lets me use it as NAS storage with a USB drive plugged in. The USB drive is a little fussy to setup, however, which makes me knock this down by a star.

Very impressed with the 5G option and the speeds it provides! Great looking router Have it vertically mounted on the wall with antennas pointing straight up in basement.. full coverage throughout home, even upstairs... full signal!

Very easy to setup and start using. Router allowed 2 xbox ones to work to play together without any extra work or setup needed. The settings interface is a little,eh, and could use some work but it has plenty of settings for a power user.
