I always buy Netgear. I've bought 40 of them over the last 10 years for various clients. They always work and are all still in service. Easy and fun to manage.

Was having wifi problems despite having high speed internet. Replaced cable router with this and it solved all my problems. Great price and well worth it.

Routers are expensive. While this router worked pretty well for me the first year, although not really providing adequate coverage for a 2500 sq. Ft . home, I noticed as “smart home,” units were added, it quickly displayed problems. I’m having to reboot more and more often. What’s next? Are there any routers that can handle multiple smart home devices, tv, etc, that won’t break the bank? Would a new modem help? Are range extenders necessary for all routers to provide adequate coverage? Different brands performing better than Netgear? I’m dismayed...

I have had a great signal throughout my entire house, and even pulling into my driveway, I automatically connect to my internet! So far, the best router I've owned!

Used as an access point with no internet. Provides fast connection and smooth data transfers. No problems connecting and handles large amounts of data easily.

My house is 2200 sqf. with 3 floors and a sub basement, this thing provides excellent reception everywhere. It is more than enough for the average wifi user.

I don't do much uploading, but download speeds over multiple devices have increased significantly. The setup was a breeze, even for someone as technically inept as myself. I would recommend based on current experience.

Have large home. Downloads wee snail paced. No connection on one end of home. So went for expensive router. Use netgear website to see what's best for you.

I bought this to keep from paying my monthly rental fee from Comcast. I needed something that would hold up to my son's gaming. This has not disappointed.

We have noticed some improvement in the gaming speed, but not enough to justify the huge investment. We are working with Spectrum as it may be the internet speed and not the router that is keeping our gaming slow still.

I have a condo and the router is good for almost the whole place but 1 room opposite end doesn’t get a signal. Could be because of it being on the second floor. I had to er a extender

I bought this router to replace my Apple Extreme. So far it works far better then the Apple Extreme. Many more configuration options with the Netgear.
