    I consider myself somewhat tech savvy. I have approximately 30 wireless devices at any given point and time in our home connected to our Netgear AC1900 Nighthawk. I got this router thinking it would be a nice upgrade and I would see performance gains (very small ones) in terms of reach in our 2 story home and a small boost in performance overall compared to my AC1900. To my dismay, this router did not perform as well even when playing around with various locations and firmware versions. I returned the router 2 days shy of the end of the return window and the CSR rep was a Geek Squad tech and said that my issue was common with this particular router. I am still using my AC1900 and may try another brand tai-band once the technology for this improves some more.
