I've had the Orbi wifi router for a few weeks now and love it. The speeds are amazing. I formally had a NetGear R6200 which sported a solid average of 235 Mbps. I'm now averaging over 350 Mbps with the Orbi. My internet provider is COX and I currently have the NetGear CM500 cable modem. I just purchased the NetGear C1000 cable modem and can't wait to see the speeds I can accomplish. The Orbi was fairly easy to setup and I haven't had any issues since it has been commissioned.

Easy plug and play hook up. Very fast and has an exceptional range.

I really like this home wifi product. Works great, easy to add to the existing system. Price point is too high, Netgear should price this better.

Best router I've ever owned. Have 3 level home and over 4200 sq. ft. home. The main router unit is located on the top floor and the satellite unit is located on the main level. Reception in the basement runs at approximately 90%. Excellent coverage. Please buy this unit!

Fantastic router that was super easy to install. Provides excellent coverage for 2 story home with a basement.

I would highly recommend this router if you want best speed. Very easy to install and range is very good too.

Found that I needed to add a satellite transmitter. My house is 2200 Sq feet. The one router did not give a great signal in the whole house. I recommend the 2 piece kit for any thing near 2000 square feet. Easy to upgrade to a satellite system and now works great

I had a different brand and both of them broke down within 2 years. This is stronger and faster.

This router has been great and have had no issue, speeds are fast and have been pretty reliable, only problems I have are with the app, so hopefully netgear can fix them, the price is a bit much but this will works

Great purchase. A MESH network channels data and provides bandwidth with streaming data on multiple devices simultaneously. Hooked up to the TWC spectrum router, powers RING Network as well. Purchase an Orbi extender as well for RING flood light cam.

I was hesitant since we have a DSL connection and have had a TON of issues with connection speeds as well as being able to say...stream Netflix and work from my laptop simultaneously. This was a last resort for me to keep my sanity and it has been working like a dream so far! No connection issues and no buffering while working on my laptop and streaming.

I have a home which is about 3000 sf. I have the main router and the satellite in opposite sides of my home. I am able to get great access no matter where I am and I am also able to get very good access in my back yard. It was more than I would normally spend for this type of device but after having it for a while I am glad I bought it.

I was having major problems with my internet and cable TV. Since I installed the Orbi router, I am no longer having buffing on my TV. Also, the speed of the internet has increased and I'm not having problems with my phone, iPad or computer in downloading things. This has made working and watching TV a pleasure without frustration.

The Orbi was easy to set-up. I wanted to upgrade from my previous Netgear. It seems to be about the same signal strength, which is disappointing. I still need a second repeater in the basement.

Orbi router was an upgrade from a Netgear router that was several years old and kept loosing the internet connection. Set up was easy and the single Orbi router covers our entire house (approx 2,000 sq ft) and reaches to the backyard. We have also started streaming on Netflix on our tv and have had no issues.

I chose this based on its aesthetics and the promise of better WiFi. Setup was straightforward, but after I changed the router password, it froze and I could no longer connect to it. The factory reset procedure didn't help either. I've found Netgear to be unreliable in the past, so I packed this up and returned it, rather than waste my time troubleshooting. I was also unimpressed with the flimsy build quality, so I'm not surprised by the reviews saying this falls apart in six months. I purchased a Linksys EA8300 instead and it's been working just fine. The product sounded promising, but it didn't deliver.

Setup was ok. Some syncing problems. This router is faster than my Apple time capsule but does not quite reach the speeds it is touted to. I am paying for Spectrum's higher speed rate 300Mbps. I am measuring on OOKLA Speedtest at 70 to 170Mbps at download speed depending on the browser and time of day. (Could Spectrum be part of the problem?) I understand range and and the wireless drop off which brings up another point, the range is not 2500 ft. I have to use 2 routers to get coverage in my house which is 2000 sq feet. Nice, if you want to speed up your system but there might be cheaper and/or even better alternatives.
