I went from lagging in all my games to great connection. My console and router were on opposite ends of the house on separate floors. Works great for me!!

My biggest complaint is the outlet connectors are fixed for a bottom outlet only, it does not rotate nor can you plug it into the top. It is also picky in the outlets it will accept, if there is any noise from other sources (electrical lines/other outlets, etc.) it will seem to go from just fine to nothing. I purchased this in order to connect home security system DVR in upstairs to router located in a 2nd floor bedroom.
Take note - it doesn't tell you on the box, but this WILL NOT WORK at all if plugged into an extension cord or outlet strip - it must be plugged directly into the outlet.

These really work well. I have a Cat 5 box where my router is located and it was not getting good wifi signal in the most important room in my house. This ethernet powerline adapter works great and provides consistent download and upload speeds. Easy to setup.

Great product. This is a good gadget to get hard wired onto the network. If your router/modem is all the way across your house, then this is what you need. And save the nails in the walls for running a long ethernet wire throughout your house. Works great! The ethernet comes through your outlet making it a hardwired connection.

our son uses this for online gaming. He had been experiencing issues with wireless being too slow. we tried different wireless adapters and range extenders with no improvement. this gives much better and more consistent performance. super easy setup. just plug in and go.

The Powerline 1000 Network Extender fixed the connection issues I was having with a computer in my basement that had trouble maintaining the link with my wifi router. The network extender is like having a direct connect from the router, but it uses the wiring in the house to transmit the signal. The network extender comes with two ethernet cables, but only four feet in length, so depending on where you have access to a power outlet and the distance to your computer, you may need longer cables. To be clear, this is not a wireless network extender, but it does the job.

Purchased this one for the desktop that does not have a wifi card. I am surprised that this is even possible for the internet to work via the electrical ports. I was surprised actually. Little expensive but I need internet on my desktop for personal use though

Modem and router in another room and I could not route cat5 easily due to vaulted ceiling. This kit has a transceiver side you plug into an electrical socket near the router. Plug it into the router and then near the electrical socket near the device you need connectivity instant internet connection. That easy !

I bought this so my son could play xbox one hardwire connected to the Internet, because the wireless signal kept dropping on his console. It does work; it transmits Internet over the electric wires, and is REAL EASY to setup! Just plug and play.
I've only used this on his xbox one, so I don't know if it's a device problem or Internet problem. I have century link, that says it all. ..
Like I said, it does transmit, and often it works perfectly. At times, typically weekends, the signal becomes unstable. Again, likely due to Centurylink, but not 100% sure.
Overall, it's helped a lot, so would I recommend it? Yes, I would. It's worth the try for sure!

This amazing product works like a charm. Had a little confusion about the status light(s) but I was over-thinking it. Simple to install and does what it's supposed to. My smart TV is happy and so is my wife--she can watch Poirot from the recliner.

I bought this item by mistake but it actually solved my biggest problem. I have it connected to my TV which it a good distance away from the main router. All the lag is GONE. What was really amazing is that is really is very easy to setup. So simple that you keep second guessing yourself that you missed something. So impressed am I that I will be purchasing a few more units. This device saves me from having to cut walls and run cable.
Con
If only it could have transmitted wireless signals too that would have made it a 5 star.

This powerline network extender did the job. I purchased it to connect the PS4 via ethernet rather than wifi. I used to have some connection issues with wifi. With this network extender I don't have any more network issues.

A bit pricey but the product works great. No complaints. Super duper easy to set up. Not sure how well this works with a 3rd or 4th adapter, but I'm curious to find out.
