We needed to extend our WI-FI in our home. This product fit our needs. It was very easy to install and link to our network. After we installed it our WI-FI has doubled in reach, just what we were looking for.

Set this up with the N600 modem / router, easy to set up and has worked well to extend the range.

It was very easy to set up out of the box. Works well. I use it for Direct TV and a flight sim.

Great device when you have a wall outlet that is located at the right spot with not much traffic.

I debated buying a new router until I saw this Netgear Extender. After talking about it with the Best Buy store associate, I figured it was worth a try since I had 15 days to return it if not happy. I had to contact NetGear tech support and they remotely reset my router before it worked with the Extender. Once that was done, it has worked near flawlessly. My WiFi BluRay player now connects to Netflix without buffering or stalling thanks to the improved connection via the Extender.

Good product with an unobtrusive look. Tried to install in an outlet downstairs, essentially directly under the office where the router was located, but signal strength was not enough to set up, so had to set up closer to router for this to extender to work. More of an issue with wireless router i guess. Getting great signal strength now on the ground floor of house. Set up required several tries before I got it to work, but once it got going its working great.

My house is a medium to smaller size home. Bought this to improve coverage at the most distant points of the house. I had to place the extender a bit far but still very reasonable distance from my router, also a netgear product. The result is that the 2giga hertz channel works reliably, but the extender drops the 5.0 channel all the time. I was hoping for better than that.

I'm not a tech person, but I'm not completely lost either. The set up wasn't as cut and dry for me, I had to go on the computer to set it up. Once it was up and running, it definitely broaden my internet area.

I am happy I purchased this item. It is small and plugs right into the wall. No need for a cord. Very easy to install.

This product is effective for my home, which contains a wireless network router in the basement and won't reach the back side of the house on the 1st floor. It's a bit pricy but after one month we haven't had any issues and the range on our WiFi is great. You lose a bit of speed with the range extender but that's negligible unless you're going to use a ton of data i.e. streaming HD movies and shows (but I guess it depends on your provider as well).

The range extender has great range, it is easy to set-up and install and requires no computer to do so. A dream for any non-geek to use.

I was very pleased with how easy it was to install. Took 5 minutes. I have a large hoem and needed more range from my wireless router. This was the most affordable solution.

Needed to boost my signal from one end of the House to the other and wanted it to be easy! I was not disappointed great performance easy, really easy to set up!

This was easy to setup on our home network and does exactly what was needed ... extends the wireless signal to be usable in all areas of the house.

This product was very simple to setup and use but I'm not sure if it's really helping. It may be because of the way my house it laid out. I'm not sure where exactly to put it to ensure the best coverage. Overall I'm fairly satisfied with this product. I just wish I had a better way of determining how much this really boosts my wifi signal.

I have no cell service at my house, so staying connected is a must. Boosted my signal outside to the metal workshop, which was a dead zone. Now I'm fully covered where ever I am.
