This product did the job that a less expensive unit failed at: Extended exisiting WiFi network range in a lower level office complex that is an exposed basement design. Don't let the poorly written instructions deter you from installing this unit: Easier than you might think after reading those instructions.

I like how easy it was to setup but I don't like how there has to be a different SSID than your main router. it adds a _EXT on the end of your SSID and my devices don't always connect to it instead of my main router when I am closer to it. I have had to reboot it a couple times in the past 2 months as no one could connect to it.

Purchased due to problem getting connection on opposite side of home. Placed about midway between ends of home. This increased range for the entire home and find it to be faster connection and more reliable than the main connection....an Apple Time Machine.

This product was easy to install and set up. My husband did it within a half hour. Unfortunately we have noticed that when we have our bedroom door shut the strength of the signal varies which can be frustrating. It overall it is a good product.

I love this signal extender. It's broadcasting straight through multiple cinder block walls. And its covering all the front areas of the building space. The only negative (and it's really only a negative for our situation) is that it allows airplay audio out of the broadcaster itself, which is a problem with us having so many guests or random people jumping on the network. Anyone has the ability to play their music onto the little speaker in the signal extender.... But it's still a great buy!

Very easy to setup and use on a day to day basis. I would definitely buy one of these again, excellent range.

It's a reasonable price (a little pricey) but it works really well. It has great range.

Setup is nearly automatic and fast. The unit searches for available network and locks on. I wonder if the range would be extended if it came with a power cord and perhaps velcro or something with which you could attach it high on a wall, I could do that myself, but would like to know whether it would help before doing it.

Bought this for my daughter because her router and modem are in the living room, her Apple TV is in the bedroom and she got no reception there. She set this extender up half way between the 2 rooms and now she can stream no problem to the bedroom with no buffering necessary. It works exactly as advertised.

We had some dead corners even though a N router was supposed to have complete coverage. We would experience some drop outs in the dead corners. The extender eliminated the drop outs completely. A perfect match to our Netgear 600 Dual Band wireless router.

This extender was a breeze to set-up and works great. Plug it in, connect to router and it's done. After a month no problems to report.

It was very easy to pair with my TWC dual band router. It works perfectly as I expected it to be.

I bought this extender because my home is large and well insulated so getting wireless from one end to the other has been very difficult. I had a different brand of extender, but it was not user friendly. This one works so much better.

Really happy with the out come of the Netgear WiFi booster. No more one bar in my house!! =) Its a 3 bed 2,100 sqft house.

This router helps to keep our connection fast and strong in such a large home. We are so glad that we purchased this.

Love that this product is dual band. I have all Netgear stuff for my home network, so this fit right in without any problems. Used it to extend the range of my network into my garage. Speed test on iPad in garage before was about 2 Mbps, after was around 35 Mbps up and down (our network peaks at around 70 Mbps up and 35 Mbps down). Now we can stream media to our iPad in our garage with no loss in quality!
