Helps pick up wi fi in the dead zones in my house.

Some of my apartment walls are made of concrete. I don't know if that affects cable signals but I kept losing the signal on my computers and tvs which were not located in the same room as the router. In addition, signals from adjacent apartments were stronger than my own cable signal. The Net Gear router strengthened the signals for rooms further away so that my signals are no longer interrupted by interference from cable signals from adjacent apartments or because of the concrete.

Performs exactly as advertised. Easy to configure.

no longer have slow lap tops or games on tv due to connection speed. Now everyone can play their games and chat on lap tops and not wait for the internet speed to catch up with the computer. Love having everyone together and happy and this does the trick. Was so simple to read the instructions and hook it up and going in a matter of minutes and the difference was noticed instantly. Password protected so we do not have anyone breaking into our space as well. great device just like the one I have on the computer in the office just an extension so it reaches to the outer areas of the house.

Not sure what I expected, but using this took us from two bars to three in that side of the home. Have plaster walls and am being told that's the reason.

It took 4 trips to BestBuy to finally get this unit. I tried three other modem/extenders, with lots of time spent talking to phone support for each unit. It was a painful learning curve...but this Netgear extender was an easy set up. No call for phone support...plug it in and follow the simple installation instructions and I was in business. Getting a strong wireless signal at the far end of my home. I stream movies, enjoy internet connection on my tablet and have access to the world wide web.

We have horrible WIFI reception in the second floor of our town home. We bought this product in order to increase the signal strength and it has worked as it was suppose to. Installation was easy and took me less than 30 minutes. Is it perfect, no but before we would always lose a connection when watching Netflix or Hulu but now it happens MUCH less. Wifi connections are never a sure thing.

Bought this because I was getting terrible internet connection across the house from my router. Works great. Just once I lost connection, not sure why but I just reset it and it worked again.

I needed a wifi extender for my basement and I almost got a cheaper smaller plug in adapter wall socket kind with the little antennas. I was in the store and I read the back of this extender and decided to spend the extra $20. It was a good choice because it works great and the next day I saw that it was 13 bucks cheaper at Wal-Mart so I went back to Best Buy and they refunded me the difference immediately. I'm happy with my purchase.

We had to replace network equipment in the house and I needed more than just a basic range extender. Was easy to set up, has all the ports I needed, no issues this past month.

Our modem is located so far away from the office and having the wi-fi signal pick up for my son's homeschooling was hard. This extender has helped him do his work with no interruptions.

The setup was a brezeee, especially that it also has the application, which I have not used. Very easy instruction to follow plus I never had an issue with the product, so far.

Back porch was a dead spot. Booster setup was fast. Almost doubled my range. I now use its wireless instead of my router since it covers more area.

We have a pole barn/metal building that we were having trouble getting wireless signal to from the house (about 60 ft). I finally read enough good reviews about this product and 2 Best Buy salesmen both suggested this item. We could get signal all around the building outside, but not inside. I put this in the office window of the building and we now have signal! I am very happy to finally have wifi out in the building as we spend alot of time out there. I had a little trouble setting it up with wifi password, but called NetGear and got it working finally.

A new wireless router would have been the better way to go in terms of performance, but this was a simple way to extend my current network without having to reconfigure all my clients.

Purchased this item to extend my wifi signal to enable connectivity with with a home automation device. It was easy to set up and extended the range of my wifi signal several hundred feet

I bought this for two reasons and it solved both. The first was that the WiFi signal in the back corner of one room was always a little weak so it was hard to stream things from that TV, and the other was that the wireless card on one of my old security cameras stopped working. Luckily, I was able to position this in a place where it boosted the signal in the room and was close enough to the camera that I could just plug it in directly with an Ethernet cable. So it's nice that it both boosts the WiFi signal while allowing for directly plugging things in via an Ethernet cable. Two birds, one stone.

Once I changed setting to a single frequency for speed vice dual speeds everything worked better but for Apple TV. To be fair though I have not spent any time working through that it may not even be an issue; my spouse not being a techie so we will see later on. Good value and area coverage. Upstairs is the Net-gear router and downstairs next to the Samsung tv is the extender and now have nice coverage through out house, garage and work shed.

Netgear is my go to products. They are easy to set up, always works, reliable over all these years. This extender with ports is no exception. Highly recommended.
