We have our wifi set up in the living room which reaches upstairs and our 2 bedrooms downstairs, basically our entire house. This summer we added a deck onto the back of our house - wifi didn't reach the deck so we could sit outside with a laptop. We discussed with the techs at the store what we could do. We purchased this NetGear extender and placed it 3 rooms away from our wifi box and 2 1/2 rooms away from the deck. We now can use our laptop on the deck. It worked great for us. Our house was built over 100 yrs. ago and it's made from a lot of brick and some metal walls. This was a great purchase for us. Our wifi now works like a charm where ever we wish to use it.

I had to return an earlier Net gear product and then purchased this product and I have been extremely happy with Net Gear's tech support and my wi-fi signal since! The WN2500RP ver.2 extender works great and delivers as promised! I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends!

Set up was easy. Works great for what I need. Extends the signal far enough for me. It is about 350 feet.

Easy to set up, and works perfectly. was afraid I was too far from the source, but it picks up tge signal great and works without any issues. Always a Netgear fan.

This extender was very easy to set up and works great. I needed additional coverage, and it provided the coverage I needed. The onboard ports ended up be an added plus.

We had been suffering with spotty wireless for about 6 months, ever since family members moved in and brought multiple devices. I had been looking for an AP (access point) to mount upstairs when I came across this Netgear range extender. The connectivity is SO much better and all of our devices have a very fast response. We are running 3 SMART TVs, 3 iPads, 1 iPod touch, 2 laptops and 2 Playstation consoles...all with 1 Netgear wireless router and 1 Netgear extender! Happy with the price and performance, can't beat it!

One of our sons had complained that he could not 'see' the WiFi from his room and even though I did not have the same experience with my devices, I thought that I might get a booster for that part of the house. After speaking with the BB tech rep in the store, I decided to purchase this item and am happy that I did. It works exactly as we wanted and gives the signal strength that our son needed.

This range extender was a breeze to set up to my existing home network. I bought it to remedy a poor wireless signal in various parts of my home. The extender generated strong signals in all of these poorly covered areas. Unfortunately, it requires that you assign a distinct name from the original wireless network name used by my router; however, most devices I use automatically switch between available networks depending on the signal strength. Yeah, it's an expensive solution for eliminating wireless dead spots (costs as much as the original wireless router I bought). But overall, I am glad to not have to deal with my network dropping out.

This Product is just what I needed to get the wi-fi signal up to the second floor of my house. Due to having a large house the signal was not doing well up on the upstairs. I also bought a smaller model for the basement so that the signal works there too. A definite improvement!

Bought this because it has port in the back so I could plug in a number of devices that don't have a wifi card. Works great.

Bought this for my Dad. He needed a range extender to get better signal in his basement. This works as expected and setup was fairly easy.

I actually didn't know what I needed to get my wifi to extend to the other half of the house. Best Buy associate recommended it so I've been since then.

I have my main modem/router on one side of the house, and i have little to no service on the other side in my master bedroom/bathroom area. This device fixed that issue. Setup was easy. Just follow the directions supplied. I would have rated this 5 stars, except i find it increasingly difficult to connect items like a printer, and a FitBit scale, the Aria, to the EXT network.

Our house is 3400 sq ft. Some of the front bedrooms were not getting good reception. This item solved the problems. I am glad we got dual band, when we have visitors and they want to watch movies they have their own band so it does interfere with my work from home.

Works well between two buildings 40-yards apart supporting 3-PC's and 1-printer via eithernet, 4-PC's and 2-printers wilreless.

This range extender was reasonably priced and has a good range for home use. Another plus is the multiple outlet ports on it for hard wiring at the destination site.

Does the job. Much better internet connection in a room my router didn't reach well, Stopped working once, reset and all is well again. Price was reasonable.
