Easy set up and great performance...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Title says it all. Used this in conjunction with my other Netgear router to overcome some dead spots in the house. Now, everything works much better and everywhere. Easy to set up (just read the directions...AND follow them) and in 10 minutes you are good-to-go.

Works great no problems follow instructions.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You need cables, connect to DVD player if no connection on TV. Reset turn off router wait 5 seconds turn back on. I have one in basement and it works great. Beats running cables. Wish they had one for cable T.V. My computer internet works great.

Great Product I have had 2 of these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to use! I have one in my parent's place and one in my house. It extends the range of my Verizon Router because it is stuck in the basement and the bedroom had some range issues. It allows you keep the same password as your own router and keeps the same name + a few characters. I wish it was cheaper though.

Good bridge for other repeaters in my system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A final end bridge to my bigger R6200 repeater. It gives me a good signal and speed to feed my TV, Cable box (Xfinity X1) and DVD player.

As advertised, but not good enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It DOES extend ANY wifi and setup is relatively easy (athough options vary from device to device, like PC, Mac, smartphone, etc), however it failed at one thing that I expected to be the other way around; 5GHz was always "green" and 2.4GHz always struggled and at "amber". The colors indicate the signal, green being the best, amber being okay and red being bad. 2.4GHz has a farther range, but the connection was always on amber, and thus the speed was slow. 5GHz was excellent. Another flaw is that at times, it was as if the connectiom just froze, while being directly on my own router everything was perfect. As far as I was later told, this is an issue that exists not only on this particular model, but on most, including the more advanced ones. I would have really loved to keep it had it not been for the struggling 2.4GHz. The PlayStation 4 does not support 2.4GHz, and I have two at home in separate locations which at times will both need to be online simultaneously. One is super far from my router, and needed a bit of help. Aside from that, I also own a tablet which is not dual band and thus depends on 2.4GHz If you plan on using the much faster 5GHz only, I do recommend it, otherwise, opt for a better one.

good unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obviously this is a WiFi range extender, but where it really earns a good review for me is that it also has 4 Ethernet ports. So it gets my non-WiFi desktop workstation connected at the same time as giving me a strong wireless connection for both phone and laptop. WiFi cards never worked very well in this desktop workstation so it's great to be able to just feed it an Ethernet cable instead. The typical distances from the router where I'm using this extender are around 50-60 feet, have not tested farther. But this has been in apartments in very dense neighborhoods, where there are commonly 30 or more WiFi signals present, so having a booster helps with the speed and quality of connection. I've noticed it occasionally drops connection with the router, but by "occasionally" I mean less than once a month, and it may have been the router's fault or a loss of signal from the ISP anyway. Configuration is really easy and worked fine from Ubuntu Linux just as well as from Windows. When I moved to a new apartment and needed to set up the extender to connect to a whole new home wireless network, I didn't have to do anything with the router (except know the WPA2 password), and I didn't have to make any wired connections (except, of course, the power adapter). I just connected to the extender via WiFi using my laptop, and browsed to the URL of the internal configuration page and gave it the new SSID and password. The fact that it can run dual-band with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz is great too.

Definitely extends range of network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The range extender was easy to set up and works well enough. I am not sure what you would do in a larger house, since this is the most powerful model available according to Best Buy staff. It works in the family room but not on the rear deck, and connection is occasionally spotty even inside the house. It is still OK though, since reception without it was often spotty and sometimes just didn't work.

Easy Set up Great Extender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.was recommend this to improve the reach of my wifi around my house. It was a real easy set up and extended the wifi signal out into my yard so now I can sit out side and get reception and get signal in my guest house for when I want to work over there.

Simple...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, pleased with the product. Very easy to set up, and connect to. However, if you are using MAC address filtering, using a router extender will creat a huge hole in that security architecture (as the devices authenticate to the extender, and the extender uses its credentials to authenticate to the main router). I use it to connect to a Linksys router, and it had no problem with the setup. Overall, it does what I needed it to do, which is to boost my wireless signal strength to the dead zones in my 3100 sq ft house. My only complaint is that, at any time, one or the other of the wireless band signals goes from excellent ...to fair. Not sure why, as nothing is moving to cause the connectivity to the main router to decrease randomly. I will research the issue online to see if there is a bug fix or configuration setting to remedy this signal drop. Again, overal pleased with the product.

WiFi downstairs at last!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This boosted my WiFi connection from a weak signal to full strength. I have a 2500sqft 2 story home and the WiFi modem is located upstairs which caused issues with my WiFi signal downstairs. This gadget solved that. Easy to setup too.

painless install!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a similar model that lasted a long time, so I replaced it with this never version. It is being used a good distance from the router, and is receiving strong signal strength, it was easy to install and so far (about two months) so good!

Works good, easy set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had read about some who struggled with setting up their range extender, so was worried as I am not a computer wiz. But set up went fine. It does what it is suppose to do. I do have some trouble with my tablet automatically connecting to it at times. Currently it seems it will not quickly identify the stronger signal of the extender. It will eventually connect, but wish it was quicker. Not sure if the problem is with the tablet or the communication with the range extender. But overall I am satisfied and hope to solve the tablet trouble eventually.

Solid Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This extender is used to reach a computer in the home office. Was operational in just a few minutes after taking it out of the box, and we noticed the signal was much stronger instantly. It occasionally seems to hiccup here and there, but overall the performance is improved and the price for this component was much better than other similar products. Thumbs up.

Seems to help somewhat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure this is worth $80, but it does seem to speed things up in a big house, and can be used to plug in a networked printer.

Inexpensive reliable solution.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install and works really well. I have no cell towers near my home, so, I connect my cell phone to the wireless network. The range extender allows me to work outside and in my barn and still have connectivity.
