I am not a network wiz, but was constantly running into problems with streaming on my smart TV. I was told by my internet provider that the most likely issue was my poor Wi-Fi signal based on where the TV was located. I purchased this extender and have not had a problem since! It was very easy to follow the directions and get the extender set up and now we are streaming without any problems at all!

Does the job of picking up signals for tv and good price.

The wifi extender was very easy to set up and the performance has been very good.

We had an ongoing issue with data usage. With four laptop computers and six cell phones in use, it has been a constant battle to stay within our data plan. With the Netgear Wi-Fi Extender it has solved our problem with wi-fi access in the house and we have been saving money by not going over with our monthly data plan! Such a simple solution, I don't know why it took us so long to get this.

This product was purchased and only used in one room. Seems to work well.

This product works perfect. It was easy to set up and extends the range of my modem.

This was a super easy set up and took no real technical expertise. Greatly improved my reception from the main floor of my home to the far upstairs home office we have. Had to rename the wifi so we would know which one was which but so easy to do.

It seems to do a lot better than just the router. We have a lot of gadgets connected to the router itself and was running slow. I connected the Netgear Dual Band Range extender and our devices are running a lot better. On a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 8.

This product was so easy to setup. It does exactly what it promises to do at a reasonable price.

I was surprised at the increased signal strength on my lap top and on my SMART TV after hooking up the NETGEAR - IEEE 802.11n 600 Mbps Wireless Range Extender . Previously, for example, my SMART TV did not receive near enough signal strength to access the internet. Once I turned on this wireless range extender, I could access the internet through my SMART TV and enjoy all the options, like NETFLICK, on it.

I purchased this range extender for improved wireless performance and was not disappointed. The unit was easy to set up exactly per the directions and works great. Our main Uverse modem is upstairs in an office and we had poor reception with our blue ray players on the main level. We can stream videos on Netflix with no problem now without having to step up one or two more Internet speed levels on our Uverse service.

I would recommend mainly because it is so easy to set up. No wifi drop b.s. Great range!

I received some Arlo cameras for Christmas and unfortunately I needed an Ethernet port to plug into for cloud storage. My AT&T router only had one port and it was being used. Because I needed the camera base to be more centralized in the house I decided to get this WiFi extender for better camera range and for the additional Ethernet ports. Works great.

I moved my office to the basement to give greater privacy for work as well as to get out of the hair of my 2 teenagers and their friends. My wireless Netgear router is in the Family room where the Comcast internet comes in. I got very poor 2.5 Gig network connection and could not even connect to the 5G network. With this extender at the top of the stairs to the basement, mounted on a wall, I now get excellent connectivity to both networks. Throughput is a little lower that when I connect to the router upstairs, but very acceptable. As it is a Netgear extender, it was a matter of seconds to connect to my Netgear wireless router. Just push the blue button on the router and then push the button on the extender. Then just a minute or so to logon to teh extender and just have it replicate the router networks. My laptop connected in a very short time. I would recommend this extender, especially if you have a Netgear router.

This extender does the job. my only issue is the 5g staying active

Just what I needed to extend weak signal strength on upper floors of a tall house. Worked perfectly for my iPad. Very pleased. But my boys who both work on MacBook Pro say their computers keep dropping wireless signals and it is not an improvement for them. Not sure why.

Easy to instal and does exactly what it is suppose to do. Only concern is that time to time the signal drops and the device i am using will switch back to the main router at the other end of house will the lowest signal. Once device is reset it works as advertised again.

We had trouble with wireless signal in some rooms and upstairs, and this boosted the signal so that all areas receive excellent signal now. At times, there are 2-3 computers, and xbox live going, and never a problem now with getting online. Product is great!!!!!!!
