I needed this because I do a lot of streaming since I kicked cable TV to the curb. It was easy to set up and works great. I haven't had any trouble with it at all. I can now stream everywhere in my house.

Excellent, was easy to install. My Ipad 2 keeps showing maximum bars anywhere in my five bedroom home. I am very please with the unit and would recommend it to anyone who's having wifi problems with wifi.

Setup was very easy taking only about 5 min for me. You have an option to set the wifi password different from the main router. Wifi is encrypted. This was an excellent deal to extend the range.

Overall this was an excellent extender for our wifi. Vet simple setup and no problems connecting. Has doubled the range of our wifi thru-out the property

Setup was fairly easy(would be easier if I had WPS on my router). Worked well once I got it configured

This device was very easy to use and setup. It worked great from the time I turned it on.

Fast and simple set up that connected on the first try to my equisting netgear equipment. The range allows me to reach the back 1/3rd of the house and the rest of the back yard (although not a huge yard, still very effective for my needs). As a casual user, the signal is very reliable and strong within the house, about half signal strength once outside in the backyard. Very easy to switch between 2GHz and 5GHz depending on the device I am using to work from.

Once I read the directions and set-up the extender it worked well. It may ask you to set-up the wireless network again but it takes a minute or two. The directions are simple and it gives you pictures so you won't get confused if setting up anything isn't your forte. Overall I'm really happy with this product and I have had no thoughts of returning it.

Installation went well. Have 2G working nicely, but can't hold a 5G connection to the Netgear WNDR3700 wifi router, about ~40ft away (through 2 drywall walls). Ethernet ports are a nice feature! First attempt at watching Netflix from a Roku connected to this device worked without buffering and pauses. Time will tell how reliable it is. Still need to determine if 5G is going to work--wish 5G worked "out of the box".

Easy set up; dual band; gets the TV's at the back of the house online.

Did what I needed. Signal is sufficient. Built-in 4 port switch was a nice addition.

Needed to extend my range from upstairs to downstairs. Works well and easy to set up.

The guy at Best Buy wanted me to buy a new cable modem and wireless router that cost three times as much as this item. He said buying the signal booster probably wouldn't work, and that I would probably be wasting my money. He was a little upset when I took this up to the counter after he told me to purchase the other products, but when I got it home it seems to be doing the job just fine.

I needed this extender because my new Sony 4K Ultra HD TV located in the basement was getting a weak signal from my router located upstairs. I placed the extender in a location recommended by the instructions and can now get a strong signal to the TV in the basement, and to my iPhone when I am in the basement. Am happy with this purchase and highly recommend this product. It was recommended to me for this purpose by the knowledgeable BestBuy sales representative.

Expands Wi-Fi throughout my home as advertised. Relatively easy to install.
