I bought this because my xbox 360 Wireless adapter went out and my bluerray player is wired for Internet access so this is exactly what I needed. I still have two more ports just in case and I tested out the wireless speed on the extender. I haven't noticed any difference while just browsing the Internet.

I bought this extender so that I could use my tablet computer in areas of my house where my WI-fi didn't reach well. It has eliminated that problem completely. was very easy to set up and connected to my network with no hassles at all. If you have "dead spot" problems, this is a good, low cost, solution.

This product didn't work out for our needs. We went back to our old netgear model and worked great

This extender is great for extending networks for components that are not wireless.. I shoved mine behind my TV and connected my Bluray player to it and the DirecTV. I hid ghe network so my other comonents dont try to connect to it. I would not try it if you wanted to file or print share.. Great piece of equipment.

The set-up was quick and easy. The security is very good and it handles everything well. It does the job!

I had some troubles getting the computer to connect to the network. The instructions are very poor in this area. I found a solution on the internet but the connection still goes in and out.

I was looking for something to extend my internet connection that was on the bottom floor of a three level townhouse. This extender did the trick, easy to set up and I don't lose signal all the way on the top floor where my second tv and all my tablets and xbox are. Great product for the money.

Purchased reasonably priced to extend wifi in 3 bedroom apartment and it does the job. No complaints.

This item is labeled as a wi-fi extender, however the more we read the package and instructions, we found that it is meant more for attaching your wired electronics via ethernet to it, as your wi-fi unit communicates to the extender. We do have it set up and placed exactly as instructed for the "wi-fi extender" purpose. (no ethernet connected) While it gives us more wireless access to the back rooms in the house we still have endless problems with it. We have to continuosly unplug the extender unit to reset it. For some reason it will still show full signal however the connection is lost and tells us our secured password is incorrect. Once we unplug it and reset it, it will usually correct itself. Its just a royal pain, and inconvienience. Not to sure that I would recommend the product.

Brought this net gear wifi extender and it's not great but it's good and gets the job done.

The extender has made my life easier! I can now use wifi thought my home with excellent reception.

This is the second range extender I have purchased within the last two years. I bought the same exact one. I now realize that the first one I purchased was probably defective out of the box. This one is much better. But I still have to unplug it once a week to renew the connection.

Was hard to setup, but after 5 tries it worked and now its awesome.
