I thought that the Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender would cover my house, and perhaps a little beyond my house. I was told that it would be that powerful, especially if I had cable Wi-Fi. One side of my house still does not get Wi-Fi. I have moved the extender to different parts of my house to see if Wi-Fi might get to the other side. The Range Extender works through half of my house only.

I used this to attach older devices that only have a Ethernet connection, to my home Wi-Fi network. This is much easier and cheaper than installing Cat5 cable. Just plug them into one of the 4 ports on the Extender. As a bonus my Wi-Fi signal is now usable in my garage.

Great to use as an easy way to turn a wireless signal into a wired access point for a tv,gaming system, blu ray player etc. I found that the extra wireless access point was extremely unreliable if more than one device was connected but as far as the wired part goes, i didn't really have any issues. Easy to setup with wps push button

Works as expected with Netgear Wireless router to create full coverage in the house.

This is a great extender. It extended my wifi way father then I thought it would.

Once we found a location that could be reached by the main router and cover the area we wanted covered (the back bedroom) the installation was easy and connection was simple. We have only had to re-set it once, though it could have been a problem with the main router.

I was having trouble with my wi-fi connection. It was disconnecting at random times. This extender solved the problem.

I used this product to extend my wireless and for the direct connections because my receiver is not wireless. The setup was easy and everything has been running fine for several weeks now. I had it lose a connection at one point where I had to unplug and allow it to reset other than that I've been happy with the purchase

For basic internet surfing it does the job no problems. You can extend wifi signal easy with minimum setups

Easy install and flexibility with a built in Ethernet switch. Nice product for the selling price. Just be aware that it will broadcast a different SSID. If your network is MyWiFi then the extender will be MyWiFi_Ext. not a huge issue but I would prefer an identical SSID to make a seamless network.

I bought the Netgear Network extender to increase our Wifi in the house. There were certain areas that signal was just too weak to do much of anything. To our delight we not only have wifi in every nook and cranny of our house, but out in the backyard and the camper! Works great!!

This works great for helping my wifi enabled blu ray player keep a more consistent connection to netflix, pandora, and other streaming services I like. I used to have an extender that plugged directly into the wall, but it had spotty performance. This gives a much more powerful boost.
