This wi-fi extender was simple to set up and it works great. I couldn't move my router without running wires, which was going to cost way too much, so I started looking for options. This extender was very reasonable from bestbuy and the range is outstanding. As soon as I pull my car into my parking space at home my phone connects to the my wi-fi. No more buffering on my kids tablets and laptops when in their rooms or kitchen area.

This is a decent booster for the price. I was told don't purchase because it would split the signal . I went ahead any way and bought it . Setup was easy and it works in my family room where wifi connection was once challenging to recieve

We had a room that had weak internet and I’d heard of these products - and for the price, figured it was worth a try. Although skeptical - it’s awesome! Easy to set up and now signal strength on that entire side of the house went from barely 2 bars to full bars. I plugged the device in within the room with poor reception rather than close to or in the room where the modem is located.

THis has extended the range of our wi-if in our home and was simple to set up. It occasionally, once a week on average, locks up and I have to unplug it to reset it but it re establishes connection automatically after plugging it back in and then runs fine.

Had no problem installing this unit, took no time at all and worms perfectly. I didn't want to have to get another router but when I saw this that just plugs in, it was perfect! My signal is strong in my detached garage, jus as much as my home, it has a wide range.

My husband has a home office at the back of our house in an addition has a shared brick wall to the inside of our house. Due to the brick wall, internet service in the office was shotty, at best. With the extender plugged into the wall (and his phone with the Ethernet port) at the entrance of the office; signal is now 100%. This device isn't terribly expensive and something we wished we would have bought over a year ago!

I have a small house, but my Comcast modem didnt give a good signal downstairs to my smart TV. Modem was on the opposite end of the house from my TV downstairs. Set the extender up, took about 10 minutes, put it in the hallway upstairs, & my TV went from a signal strength of 2 bars to 5 bars. NETFLIX now comes in HD all time & never pauses from buffering. Product has worked great with our tablets & phones too.

I have a dead spot in my home where my blue ray player does not pickup Netflix very well and the NetGear extender does a very good job getting more signal strength as well as very simple to use.

We bought this product because our router is located in the basement & we were having issue with connectivity on our top floor. After installing the Netgear Range extender on our first floor we have excellent coverage throughout our house.

It did not take long to setup and seems to be working ok so far and it has been a few weeks. My wife complained the wifi didnt work well upstairs in her workout room with her Apple TV, she has not complained since I installed this.

I am no techie, so I worried that I would have to spend hours trying to set this up. It was incredibly easy with simple, well written instructions. Best of all it solved my WIFi issues in my two story home.

This range extender works absolutely perfect. In fact it works so well, I run all my devices from the extender/booster rather than my regular wifi because the signal is so much better/stronger. Best part is, as long as I am close enough to main wifi, I can just plug in the extender wherever I need it to be. In the garage, outside, etc. Easy setup, just follow easy directions.

My first adventure into Wi-Fi extender device. Easy setup and affordable price point sold me on this one. Able to connect via Wi-Fi on one device and wired connection to my desktop simultaneously too.

My local Best Buy could not get the wifi card in my daughter's HP envy touchscreen to work even at the store. So we bought a usb edimax wifi extender and that did not solve the connection issues when she was upstairs, so we bought this unit and now our daughter is able to get online upstairs as well. She watches Netflix, etc. and needed a better signal. If I were rating Best Buy and the Geed Squad "solutions" they offered I would give them one star. The computer we bought from them never would connect through wifi properly, and their solution was simply to keep buying more addons until something works. Intel's wifi card is horrible and Best Buy's attempt to fix the card was anti-climatic at best. Still this extender has allow my daughter to do what she wants to on the net.

Got this to extend wifi range to the upstairs of my house. Very simple to use. Nearly plug and play. Wasn't thrilled with my speed to my desktop so plugged it in to the ethernet port on the extender and it is much better.

Needed to improve Wi-Fi signal drop outs due to location of Comcast Aris TG862 router in house. Placed in center of the house and all drop outs finished. Very easy to set up. Just follow the instructions. Laptop, iPod, Kindle and TV set know all use the extended signal without any drops. All other Wi-Fi gadgets remain on original signal from router.

This NetGear Extender does what all the other reviews claim: solid performance and an easy set-up. I was expecting all sorts of hassles setting this up with my Verizon router but it was SO much easier than expected. You literally push a couple buttons, wait a minute, and done! Finding the sweet spot to plug this in (halfway between the router and the most distant point you want to extend to) was also incredibly simple, thanks to the signal strength light on the extender. It can easily be unplugged, moved around, and set back up with no need to re-pair it with the router. I now have full house coverage, including the basement, as well as on my deck, porch and half the backyard.

The internet was spotty on our TV downstairs, too far from the router box upstairs. I was advised by Netflix to get one of these. It works great! My daughter programmed it and hooked it up (I'm not technologically advanced!) but she said it was fairly easy. I got the least expensive model, but the reviews were promising. They were right!

Easy to set up, extended the WI-fi signal in the house to just about double. Down side was that it took about 15 minutes of computer time to get set up. Not terrible, but could have been more plug and play.
