I purchased this wifi extender after some exhaustive research. I purchased a new smart tv for my bedroom which is located on the 2nd floor of my house. My router is on the 1st floor. I had connection issues right away. Sometimes I had to give up and go downstairs in order to stream my shows. I was very disappointed. I decided to buy this extender because of the great reviews and price. So happy I did!!! I can stream in my bedroom!!!

When I first got this it boosted up my signal but after a couple of weeks it's not as strong as it used to be. It's great for the price though

This extender fits the bill perfectly!! I paired it up to our existing netgear wifi router which originally only reached half way across the house, now we get a very strong signal to the bedrooms where the roku's are stationed!! Very simple installation as well!!

Due to the area where my modem/router is located I was not able to get a good signal at the far end of my house. I also was not able to get wifi where my patio is located outside. This was very easy to install and now I can get wifi as far as my patio!

This extender does the job for the price. Easy setup and cheap way to get more signal in hard to reach spots in the house.

I purchased this unit based on the user reviews so address the weakness of my cable modem. I have an Arris DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem, which does a decent job, but not the best. The cable modem is in the living room, but when we tried to do video streaming in the basement classroom/office/workout room directly below the living room, the video and sound quality was choppy and intermittent, even though the Arris app says the signal quality was great (80% or better). I have always liked NETGEAR products (but Best Buy didn't carry the cable modem I really wanted) so this was my first stop. The set up was super easy, just plug it in, connect to it with your computer and load in the wifi network information, wait a couple minutes, and you're DONE. The unit joined the network, and worked instantly. The best thing is, once it has learned the network login info it never forgets, even if you unplug it. This means that when I want to get a super strong wifi in the garage, all I have to do is plug it in, and within a minute or so, I've got a super strong signal so I can stream music or videos in the garage (which was incredibly spotty before). Simple set up, flawless operation, and if you want to take it out to the garage, basement, or back yard, you don't have to so anything but plug it in. I would highly recommend it for anyone who needs to beef up their wifi.

Bought this to extend my reception on my router. My router is a very good one but the area where I had it, my Smart TV was at the threshold and the reception was weak. Installation was easy and my Smart TV works like a champ. Glad I purchased this.

Easy to set up and provided a strong signal for the room it was purchased for in the house. The best attribute is the set up, very easy.

Step by step instructions are easy to follow making set up effortless. Really extended the wifi through my home especially in the areas we were having trouble receiving the signal from prior to purchasing the extender. Well worth the investment.

I have 4 floors in my house. I was suppose to put our router on the second floor but i was not thinking and i put in on the 4th floor. I get wifi on the 4th and 3rd floor but I barely get wifi on the first and 2nd floor. I got 2 of these devices (Just in case i need to put one more). I install the first one on the second floor in the middle of the room and the wifi signal increase dramatically. I get wifi all over my house now so i returned back the second one. You do not get wifi outside but i dont care for that.

I bought this to extend the reach of a wireless network where the router sits in a basement utility room. I needed to be able to access the network from my office on the second floor. The setup process could have used some better instructions. The web ui setup screen is pretty sparse on directions. If any steps of the setup fail, you just loop back to the beginning of the process without knowing what went wrong. Once I got it setup, it works great. I now get a good strong signal from the dungeon-confined router.

I have had great experience with this device. It works great and extends the range as advertised. I ended up getting one for my neighbor after he complained that the extender that he had purchased was not working. It is very easy to setup too.

We live in a four story house built in 1939 with lots of plaster walls. Our Fios router's wifi signal did not reach throughout the house. This wifi extender provides a good signal throughout the house. It was very easy to install.

It works great. My only complaint is the speed is capped at half of what the base wifi can do. Make sure you are getting the correct model for your desired speed Setup is easy

The extender works great to extend weak WiFi signal for up to 10-15m. Easy to use, installation program guides through every step. Reset button needs to be pressed for quite a while before extender goes back to factory settings.

This little wifi extender works so well, and the coverage is so good, when I'm in the same room as the primary router, my devices pick the extender first to connect. I'm using this to cover a detached garage about 50' away and the signal strength is maxed out through two walls. This configures fast and connects right away. If you need extra wifi coverage, this is the device to get. Inexpensive and works well.

I had my doubts when i purchased this product, but it has really surprised me!! The ease of installing it, along with how great it works really blew me away!! This is a great purchase for the low price to extend your wifi!! Love it!!

We we had trouble getting our wireless signal to reach the basement devices. This extender has solved our problem. Was very easy to set up - took only a few minutes after opening the box to set up a strong secure signal in the basement.

We have had a wireless router for several years. Unfortunately, our home is 2700 feet and the router is placed in the opposite corner of a storage area in the basement. Our sons rooms are on the opposite side of the wireless router and would lose the signal quite frequently. We even had an AT&T technician come to our home to help with the problem. He advised to go to Best Buy and purchase this extender. Because our Wi-Fi router was in the basement, it could not reach to the opposite end of the house for coverage. We bought an extended port to place upstairs in the living room which is in the center of our sons' bedrooms. Since buying this device, we do not have any problems with wireless connection as far as disconnecting or not enough signal strength.
