I want to start off by saying that this is a great product. I have installed many wireless router's and I feel that this is a product that is very easily configured to the user's specifications. A downfall to some user's may be is if not using an internal high speed wireless card, cross manufacturer cards have a hard time communicating to this router. It might have been something on my end but I didn't look into it too much. Great product, easy to install, configure, and go!!

NETGEAR 802.11g Wireless Router Works just great for my needs. I thought that I should buy the next model up, but this does the job. I did have to call Netgear for set up, my computer would not let me install it and it took a few steps. Went through the set-up with the Netgear rep and it works great.

I have this router at my home, and I love it. It sends signal everywhere in my house (except my sunporch...sometimes). However, I just bought it for my grandparents home, and it surprisingly doesn't reach veyr far in their home....and the problem: it doesn't reach the room it was intended for. So, I may be buying another router.

I basically bought this to split my modem connection between a wired computer and a XBox 360. Doesn't have the xbox logo on it, but works perfectly with my 360 (No network issues.) Only real problem I have with setting up my wireless network was that in order to set a WEP key it wanted me to use a generic code (like 9999999999) Couldn't get a custom alphanumeric code to work. Works well other than that gripe. Had to turn off wireless so someone couldn't enter a generic code and steal my internet.

I bought this router when i got my new netbook.when i got the router i said to the guy at best buy "this doesn't have a disk drive?"( you have to download the software from the disk) he said look on the website and just download the software. i looked when i went to set it up, NOTHING! When i called customer support it was easy to get tech support, but the guy didn't speak FREAKING ENGLISH!!!!!!! it took about an hour(because i couldn't understand him) but i got it up and working. A very good router for 802.11g networks. I have been using it for 3 months now and I have yet to experience any wireless disconnects like I did with my Linksys router.

Tried to set up my PC makeover by myself, but had to call the Geek Squad. Router only set up for 200o, XP, or Vista. Geek configured it to work. I didn't know how.

My son got an xbox 360 for xmas, and had to get on xbox live. Since we got a cable modem, we had to switch between the xbox and the computer, so I did some research and knew we needed a wireless router. Went to Best Buy and found this one, talked to a geek squad guy and knew this one would work...he also said he would come to my house and set it up for $50.00...I said we would try it ourselves. Come home, and it was a piece of cake to set up.

The router is great, but the installation disc is not Windows 7 ready so you have to go online to set it up and get the wireless settings at the website.

it could have a little note to look at the bottom of the router to register the router would have been a helpful hint. It tooke me almost a week to relized what I need to do. Once I found the website as well as the tempery user and password names... I had no problem of registering and load my wireless. Now, I have been enjoying my laptop even more while the main computer is being occupied by someone else. Thank You!

The WGR614 is a good soild Wireless G router which is easy to configure. My old WGR614 died after two years - so, I tryed to step up to the Netgear N wireless router but had issues with my Verizon Hub and wife's PC having issues connecting. Loved the speed of N but had to step back to the WGR614 and it's working perfectly.
