This is a good router, but it does have some problems in that it will arbitrarily lose it's settings. Even so, I would recommend the product.

I would reccomend this router to anyone. It's a great product and the price is low.

was a snap to set up and install! Directions were clear cut and everything was color coded for those of us who are technology idiots.

This router was inexpensive, easy to hook up and have not touched it since.

I am not a computer person and had a little trouble getting installed but one call to Netgear customer support had everything up and running in 15 minutes. Excellent service. Using in 1600 sq. foot home and get clear max signal everywhere even outside on the patio. Small and good looking on the desk as well. Just need a basic wireless system in your house....why spend more?

This product saved the day! I needed a replacement router for my home office pc as well as family pcs, and other wireless devices. This router was very easy to set up as the wizard allowed the router to detect my old router's settings (from my ISP) and all of my devices (XP, WIN7, G, B) were up and running in no time. It has a small footprint and looks stylish to boot.

I thought since the price was so cheap that this product was going to be a waste of money but I was proven wrong! I am so happy with this purchase! :)

I've been very pleased with mine. I'm a novice, and had terrible trouble with both LinkSys and DLink. I returned both of those after a great deal of frustration. The NetGear installed easily, and has worked great for several years. It's time to buy one for my mother, and I'm going with what I know. I'm very happy with this product and won't even consider something else.

To date, this product has worked great. It says the range is one of the smallest, but the network has been available with 4 out of 5 bars in the neighbors house, 75 feet away. I would buy it again.

Purchased this router to replace my 6 year old one and it works perfect. My only problem was the Easy setup CD; it didn't work like it was suppose to. I just went to the website the instuctions told me to and setup the secure network from there, it was very easy. I never lost connection the 24 plus hours when i was using the wireless. Good value for the price.

I have always liked Netgear...it is the easiest to set up and use...and I have tried others, including Lynksis. This is always the best and the price is always right.

I first bout a dynex that was a mistake then I bought a linsys that 1 didn’t work then I got the netgear and it worked right away just got it so I could get my wii online and it works well and the cost is not to bad either so if you have a wii and want to get online go with the netgear

PREVIOUSLY I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH NETGEAR PRODUCTS; HOWEVER I DECIDED TO GIVE THE BRAND A SECOND CHANCE. THIS TIME WAS THE CHARM !!!. VERY EASY TO INSTALL EVEN TO SET UP THE ENCRIPTION. TOOK ME LESS THAN 15 MINUTES !!!!! AND IT WAS UP AND RUNNING. PREVIOUSLY I WAS USING MY LAPTOP WITH ETHERNET CABLE. I HAVE TO SAY THE WIRELESS IS FASTER!!!

I installed onto a cable modem provided by MediaCom for internet service in a condo. Amazingly easy to setup and the range is great given this is in a complex. I can connect at the pool. I can connect at other condo units 100+ feet away. This is a great product.

Almost plug and play. Selected the most secure encryption, chose a password and the computers and printers joined on the first try.

The range is farther then other units that I have tried.

Well it works fine for normal internet all over the house. Which is pretty large (4319 square ft). But this router is absolutely horrible at finding and staying on an open NAT setting. When playing xbox live this router because of its Strict NAT setting problems will randomly silence your voice chat during games. Suddenly you'll be talking then suddenly you cant hear anyone and your friends get a nice hissing noise on their ends. Other than voice communications having the strict NAT setting problem will hamper finding games. You'll randomly get booted from lobbies and every so often you cannot even join parties or other friends. This results in countless power resets of the router and just hoping that it wont ruin your gaming night. Bottom line i will be buying a LinkSys router soon because our last one ran fine.
