This is way better than the old XL. Features ZL, ZR buttons, a C stick, double the processing speed, double the download speed, face tracking 3D. The 3D is so much better this time. Make sure to keep old charger or buy a new one as it does not come with one. Uses Micro SD cards instead of the old SD which were bigger and not as fast when it comes to transferring data.

Nintendo just knows how to make hand heads. Love the large screen and as a person who doesn't really see 3D I really am surprised by how well it works.

The New 3DS XL offers some great improvements over the previous generation. The 3D head-tracking feature is a godsend and the addition of the c-stick makes Super Smash Bros even more fun to play. I wish the micro SD card was easier to take out and back up and would prefer that the physical switch for Internet had remained. But all in all I love my new 3DS!

I love this little jewel of awesomeness. I think that nintendo really out did themselves with it. The extra c-stick helps tremendously in games like Monster Hunter Ultimate. The eye tracking is spot on, only problem I have with it is that I bob my head a lot so sometimes, it will just shake and then reregister. My previous 3DS, I just always had the 3D off.

I bought this after having a regular 3ds and a 3ds xl and this is such a great upgrade to those systems. I never used the 3d on those systems because of how finicky it was but now I have yet to turn it off while playing Majora's mask. The c stick nub works really well I was suprised. Whether you have a 3ds or not this is a great upgrade or a first system.

I am a 35 year old man who bought this to play Pokemon and/or Zelda.I use it to tease my nephew with pokemon that I refuse to trade him. It is fairly easy to navigate the OS.The 3D part of it is meh. The novelty wears off after a day. I have not owned a handheld system since the Gameboy Advance. This has helped me not play Clash of Clans while at work.

The face-tracking for the 3D helps a lot. I usually don't use the 3D feature, but I may now because of this. With my 1st gen 3DSXL I'd be in a battle and lose the perfect angle and then I'd struggle to get it back while trying not to die. Now I don't have to worry about that.

I have a 3DS XL and have been using the New 3DS XL - it is so much better! I love the eye tracking (the 3D works from any angle!). With the old 3DS, I didn't use the 3D much because you'd have to position it a certain way and while playing games like Zelda, having the screen go out of focus while you're playing isn't a good idea. This one works great!

This NEW3DS XL has quite a bit of improvements. 2 Extra buttons and a nub that helps in certain games, so you won't need a circle pad pro with this system. Boot up time is much faster. the game slot is at the bottom now and so is the stylus. Even though it is a fingerprint magnet I don't mind because it feels so smooth and silky in my hands. Love it !!!

Great games, big screen, 3d works well. Red is a good color.

I have been wanting a 3DS XL since they first came out, and when they came out with the NEW 3DS XL I figured it was time to jump the gun, especially since I was still rocking the first 3DS. I have had so much fun with it so far and the fact that the 3D part is so much easier on the eyes, I am glad I held out for this new one! Thank you Best Buy!

this new version of the 3ds XL is awesome. The 3D looks way better and doesn't cause nearly as much strain on your eyes. I love that the volume button was moved up because before it was constantly in the way and my hand would accidentally move it up and down. I have honestly not experienced and pros yet to it, love it and well worth the extra $20.

My fiancé has a 3ds XL in galaxy and I wanted one for myself since my dog got ahold of my original 3DS a few months back. I love the color that it came in and the larger screen sizes No problems setting it up and transferring my old account to it. It’s an amazing machine. Now to just get my hands on the Switch!

My son's original 3DS finally gave in so we bought him another one. This one is much better and seems to run faster than its predecessor. My son is very happy with this system and it's well built and can handle the daily activities of a 5 year old. Highly recommended!

This is a really cool upgrade to the Nintendo DS portable console line. Nintendo's focus on games that are 'fun' is ever present and this console marks the next logical step in that direction. The 3D screen looks great, the sound is decent and the hours of fun you'll get out of this will seem endless. I guess that sounds a lot like a sales pitch, but I'm a 40 year old quasi-gamer. I grew up playing games, and now only play casually. I was waiting for an update to the DS line before getting into the 3DS and this is it. I'm glad I waited. It is excellent.

My son had the original Nintendo 3DS XL for several years and had an accidental drop that rendered it DOA. We decided to go with the the New 3DS and couldn't be happier. Many updates and design features make this system well worth the update. The 3D is awesome and my son can use the feature more on the new system than the original one.
