I also have the original 3DS and this thing blows it away. The new face tracking 3d is fantastic and I now play with 3d on all the time. My only complaint is the bad resolution of the 3DS screen but we all pretty much knew that to be the case. Great little device and a huge improvement over the original 3DS

The New 3DS XL is the newest version of Nintendo's popular 3DS line. Increased speed and an added nub make this much better. Load times are insanely fast in comparison to the old 3DS and the nub makes games such as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate a blast to play without the need for the Circle Pad Pro attachment.

The new 3ds xl plays all DS and 3DS games. It will also allow you to play upcoming 'new 3ds xl only' games. The device has a largely improved 3d feature over prior 3ds systems. It also features 4 shoulder buttons and a second analog nub that works nicely. Without a doubt the best portable gaming experience.

I rarely used the 3d on my old 3ds xl because I couldn't find the sweet spot for more than a minute at a time. With the updated 3ds I leave the 3d turned all the up, all the time. The games look so much better like this, and believe it is worth the price to upgrade even if you were only one version behind.

The original 3DS was not so 3D for me. I would get sick just attempting to look at the device. this New New 3DS Is simply amazing. The Best Buy store that I got mine from had them in stock on release day. My only regret is that I only purchased one unit when I should have purchased one for my Wife as well.

I enjoy the 3D a lot, really makes the games interesting. I don't have much of a use for the second stick to control camera controls yet since I only really play Pokémon but it doesn't seem to move much when I touch it anyone, not the design I thought it was going to be. No difference to me though anyhow!

The new 3DS so far has not disappointed me , the super stable 3D is fantastic, it also has amiibo support and compared to the previous versions the battery lasts longer. The only bad thing about this is that does not come with an AC adapter but if you have a 3ds . 2ds or dsi that adapter should work fine.

It's charge lasts for over a day, the graphics are beautiful, the sound perfect, and the game play is fantastic! I am buying a second one for my younger son as a result. We love the upgrads and playability. It doesn't fit in his pocket as easily as the older versions - but the trade off is worth it.

I never owned a Nintendo ds or a 3ds but my friends do and mine is deffinately faster. Couldn't play 3d much on my other friends. It hurt my eyes to much but I have no issues with the new one at all. great game remakes make it even better.

I purchased the 3ds xl for my ten year old son. According to him, he was the only kid at school that didn't have some variation of a Nintendo ds. He absolutely loves it. Faster processor and larger screen than previous models and the red color is very good looking. Wish it came with a charging cable, though.

My son's 3DS XL broke. It was bound to happen since he is clumsy but we decided to purchase him a new one. This new model seems even tougher than the 1st on that he had. The graphics are even better on this one & it was cheaper than the previous model that we had bought for him a year earlier.

I absolutely love the New 3DS. the 3D has been vastly improved and doesnt hurt my eyes as much as the previous versions. The Amiibo support is amazing as well. It kind of works better then the Wii U version in my opinion. The only thing that sucks is the lack of a AC Adapter but i just used my old one.

The n3DS XL is a great handheld that provides many updates to it's predecessor. The improved 3D tracking ability along with the c-stick nub bring some much needed improvement to Nintendo's classic handheld. The red model has a very classy "red wine" look that draws a lot of praise. Highly recommended.

I picked this up to replace an old DS lite. My kids both have 3Dses and we all wanted to play Animal Crossing together. I found that this is a decent Youtube viewer and I've been using the Netflix on it when doing laundry etc. It sits up easier than a tablet and has become my go-to tech gadget.

This little unit, despite being noticeably bigger than my previous DS, is super light and easy to transport. The 3D is really improved over the last iteration, and even though Nintendo products are typically region locked i've found that the new 3DS can play both DS and DSi games from other regions (Europe and Asia). Have yet to test out this theory on a foreign 3DS game, though. The one knock i have against the new 3DS is that the black isn't really black enough - it's more like a grey.

I bought my 3DS XL in New Black and it looks amazing! It feels good and isn't too heavy. The 3D on it is great but may hurt your eyes after a while but i love it anyways! It has so many cool features i didn't know abou until i started playing with it. I love this thing and i would buy another!

Been a long long time since I've played hand held console. Or any console for that matter. Got it to try out pkmn y. 3D features are pretty sweet. Can cause headaches for me when my eyes are tired. Battery does pretty well to last me most of the day if I play occasionally. Probably a third of the day if I'm going at it with volume and 3D maxed out. Not very up front about there not being a charger that comes with the console. I'm still enjoying it though, so hope y'all do too.

This is my first 3DS console. (I have the NDSL) I like the 3D effect. So far, I've only played a few games on this console. Kirby Triple Deluxe looks really good on this system. Paper Mario is okay. I'm looking forward for newer games that will make use of the C stick and the new L and R buttons.

The best version of 3ds by far. Gives access for Xenoblade 3d which is exclusive to New 3ds. 3d does all the work for your eyes. Loads faster. Eliminates future need for circle pad pro. Better battery life. Only downside is it does not come with ac adapter. You will need to buy one separate.

I bought this for my son's birthday, it was an upgrade. There is a button to adjust the 3D feature. One of the benefits for parents are the parental locks and controls for certain features. I'm not much of a gamer but I do enjoy playing it occasionally and really like the larger screens.
