Purchased the 2DS for my wife as a Christmas gift and she LOVES it! And if she’s happy, I’m happy. Thought she may have preferred the 3DS, but I couldn’t get my hands on one in time for Christmas. But she couldn’t be more pleased with the 2DS and that great for me.

Took a few minutes to get it setup for my son but has been easy for him to use since then. Games are easy to load and can get inexpensive used games

Our son needed an update to his ds and this one has a bigger screen, better memory, and better battery life. A great purchase for anyone on the go.

Good gaming machine. IMHO its easier to hold for longer periods of time than New 3DSXL and it is cheaper too.

Much prefer the 2ds xl over the 3ds xl. 1, cheaper. 2, it seems to have a bit of a different display that I prefer. plus, I don't like the 3d effect

I was never a fan of the '3D' capabilities of the 3DS (I have had the original 3DS as well as the New Nintendo 3DS XL in the past) so this was perfect for me. To me, the colors of the games and graphics themselves are more vibrant and defined in 2D format and I am so glad they finally released an XL option of the 2DS as I hated the smaller 2DS I had been using prior to this release. Perfect for anyone wanting a 3DS at a more affordable price as well as without wasting the extra money on faux-3D graphics that just give you a headache.

I wasn’t for the 3D of the 3DS so this satisfies my needs. The system is smooth and the games are awesome. Great for a trip with the boys!

I bought this to play Pokemon games on. I'm loving it. The two screens really add a lot to the game play, and the battery lasts well.

I picked this over the New 3DS because it was $50 cheaper and I don't care about 3D. Extremely happy with my purchase and I'm enjoying it!

i have played my brothers 3DS and i loved it but i didnt like the "3D" thing about it. Kind of sucked. Maybe is best for certain games im not sure but i would rather have this 2DS and its less pricey. I only play pokemon games on this.

Picked this up for a birthday and it worked great. All the size of the XL but none of the weird not always compatible 3D feature.

I really like the size of the screen and the fact that I can use my games from my old DS.

Having already owned a 3ds I can say personally I never used the 3D feature at all for my games and I needed a new ds so I bought this. Already a plus because of the lack of 3ds mode and lower price point made it a perfect pick up for me and the color is just beautiful. And I know some of you are thinking why'd you buy a 2ds when the switch is a thing? I all ready own the switch which is also amazing. Nevertheless I'd recommend this 2ds if u want a color other than red or black and hate the 3ds feature on 3ds

Bought this as an extra system to play with my son. Love it! No need for 3d and all his games play perfect on here. The system is lighter and thinner than the 3ds, but the screens remain the same size. The only thing I'd change is the volume button was moved from the top screen to the bottom one and I hit it while playing sometimes unintentionally lowering the volume, but that's a minor thing. Other than that it's great!

This handheld is the first in a very long while that is perfect out of the box. It feels so good in the hands and the image quality is awesome. (This is the 2D version of the famed 3DS, but the 3DS's 3D made me so ill.)

My nephew loves playing mario kart. The thing is built like a tank. Even the screen holds up after a few drops. Fun preinstalled games that utilize the camera that the kids love. Comes with a sd card to load other games.

This was a birthday gift for my son. Loves the device and carries it everywhere.

I was surprised how light weight this is for the size. And the graphics are not bad either. My kids really enjoyed it!

I bought this along with Mario Kart 7 for my 5 year old grandson to keep him from asking to play games on my phone and then running down my battery. Success! He loves it, I’m the best “Papa”, and I keep my phone.
