I've owned several 3DS and 3DS XL systems, and this one is by far the best one I have owned. The manufacturing on this device was spot on, and by that I mean that there is virtually no top screen shifting (where you can shift it left and right because there's air space due to weak manufacturing tolerances). Besides that, the design on this 3DS is awesome, as Samus is one of my favorite characters. It's simple, clean, and awesome looking.

The New 3DS XL is a very nice handheld, and this Samus Edition is no exception. If you're a Metroid fan and looking to upgrade from a standard 3DS, this is what you need. Samus Returns is sold separately, unfortunately.

This is definitely one of the better looking limited edition 3DS systems that we've gotten in the states. Honestly, the system is more of an orange tint than it is red in the pictures you see. Also it has a very nice shimmer to the entire system, looks great! If you're a fan or collector you can't pass this one up.

This 3ds is even nicer in person. The yellow and orange are beautiful! I had an older 3ds, so I was ready to upgrade. I wanted something a little different than just black or galaxy. This fit the bill. And it’s a lot faster than my original system. If you are looking for an upgrade like me, and you like Metroid and orange, grab this up before it’s gone.

Comes with a 4 GB microSD installed, no A/C adapter comes with it. The box art and art on the exterior covers is nice and glossy. The inside covers and buttons are standard black XL. No Metroid theme preinstalled but is still free last I checked in the shop.

I like the look of this version. It's subtle, but something different. Something you could easily see a kid or an adult carrying around. As far as the rest this version has the 3D slider, faster processor, and all upgrades. Does not come with charger. :(

The New 3ds XL is a great system but it's incredible the little amount of effort Nintendo put into this new collectible edition. The paint skin is only on the outside, the inside is plain black with the same color for the buttons as the plain New 3ds XL. The end result is a more expensive system that offers the same as the plain original. Buy only for the collectible aspect of it but nothing else.

It's your standard New 3DS XL, but the outside plating is done really well, with a nice, detailed, metallic look. A great system. Too bad Best Buy opted to ship these $200 systems in bubble mailers .

One of the best portable system . They have so many games that can come out for this system that’s over due . Wish they can make more older MARIO games . Metroid game is great.

I am a huge metroid fan since the first game on the NES came out back in 1986 and had to get this just to have for collector's purposes. Pick this one up if your a fan too!

Amazing 3ds and very Beautifully designed. The back side is a gold finish and the front is a a beautiful color of a red shade with samus. It is definitely worth buying.
