Great game for a great price! Was glad to finally get my hands on this one. It looks stunning and plays just like the original. Highly recommend!

I remembered liking the original pokemon snap way back when but wasn't sure if there would be enough content to keep me interested in a new one. But the new game has plenty of tracks with plenty of hidden interactions and pokemon that only show up after playing longer. It helps keep things fresh. There is still a bit of repetition by necessity as you need to do multiple tries to get all the photos but the tracts are interesting enough and quick enough that it doesn't feel too grindy to get through the main content.

I cannot put this game down. It's so fun and engrossing and comes with tons of replayability as you're able to try different branching paths, day vs. night mode, and multiple combinations of gameplay mechanics to get the best photos.
The stars for your photos actually represent behavior classifications, so each Pokemon has 4 (or more) behaviors that can be grouped up in 1-4 star ratings. The point score is what actually rates the quality of your photo. So you actually would take 4 times as much photos requiring you to go back into the course, and as quests become available to capture specific shots, you find yourself going back again and again.
The more you visit a course, the more the pokemon get comfortable around you (leveling mechanic), so you get to experience changes in the course. I've spent so much time just on the first 2 courses, replaying to get the best shots and revisit the ones I missed, and there's still so much to go!
I definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoyed the original Pokemon Snap!

A wonderful and unexpected follow up to the N64 classic. Had a wonderful time reexploring this type of game and the added challenges gave some needed direction to each area.
