Great relaxing game for both adults and children, especially if you are an adult with a child. If you like Pokemon and photography this is the game for you. Some types of people may find it boring though as it is not very fast paced and disappointed that not all Pokemon are present.

Great game, reminds me of the old SNAP CRACKLE POP! With an added HD POP! It was fun to pretend you are the one living for the Pokemon... and there only desire is to ever escape your crutches forever!!! Wohahahah! You are actually the prisoner to the Pokemon as they delight in your madness to attain the perfectly centered photo, with a glimmer of some random action they will perform, and capture that for ALL ETERNITY!
You will brave all manner of photo bombardment, finding any minute amount of points you could gather from the SLIGHTEST of angles, yet be deterred when it was weaker then your last photo, without any particular guidelines. But ALAS! There is a thrilling adventure to be had under all your craziness to attain perfection, instead just going for the deep dive into pokemon kingdom MADNESS..
Be warned its addicting to take the most modelic photos of Pokemon for hours straight... enjoy!

This is a great game. I pre-ordered it, and it arrived on its release day. It is cute and has pretty graphics. It is a relaxing game with a lot of cute Pokemon. My daughter (age 11) has been playing it for the past hour and loves it. She says it is five stars.

I got this for my 5 year old. I personally know little of Pokemon and as a photographer the game frustrates me because it grades shots far differently than I do.
However, my 5 year year old says "It's amazing! It's great fun to ride the little floating thing taking pictures of all the beautiful Pokemon. Getting to go to different places at day and night with different Pokemon is awesome cool and some of them glow which is super amazing and awesome!"
There was more but I started to tune it out. The kiddo likes the game. It's fun if you like photography even if you don't know or care what a Pikachu is. Just don't expect it to grade your phots with sophistication. This is a kid's game.

This game is alright. The story is not good and I wish it did not try to tell one. It definitely overall is a better game than the original on the Nintendo 64 improving upon it in many ways.
If a kid likes to take pictures and throw crap at Pokemon they will love this game. If you are wanting to do more than that, then you will be disappointed.

I didn't rush to get this at launch, mostly because over the span of the many years since I played the original Pokemon Snap I'd forgotten what a solid game it was. I knew it was great, but replaying this game gives me this weird sense of being really impressed with just how good this version is, while also dredging up memories of just how fantastic the original was and still is.
This game is stellar all-around. I hadn't really appreciated that there hasn't been a single Pokemon Snap game since the N64 version. You could say it speaks volumes to how good the first one was, or you could say Nintendo overlooked a fantastic title for many years. It was worth the wait. They got this one right and you'll have a great time experiencing this game with the new gyro aiming, better graphics, and night versions of the locations.

New Pokemon Snap has you go on various on-rail rides with plenty of oppotunites to flex the photographist within us all. Over time, the game will slowly introduce a variety of new tools and places to go. As of this writing, the game just had an update that added even more locations and Pokemon, possible with more to come. For a fun, casual time, this is a great game, especially when played with others.

Fun game so far. A very new/updated/revamped take on the classic N64 Pokémon SNAP with modern graphics and newer Pokémon, but it includes so many details that truly tie it to the original. Can you still bonk a Pokémon on the head with an Apple? Yeah. Charmander party? Yeah. The game offers a couple of different control configurations and some customization for things like joystick/camera speed. I could do without all the characters in the game and am a little annoyed at how much their talking and side quests distract me from making progress in the game. The Pokémon are all delightful, though, and snapping unique or humorous photos of them is a joyful experience. Oh, and the personal photo album not only lets you add caption, but it also allows some detailed photo editing!!!

Great game. Lots to do and no pressure to do it. Just sit back relax and take photos. Stages have a great replay quality as you always find new Pokémon and different angles or poses to snap a picture.

It's so much fun! Taking pictures of pokemon can be fun. Some levels can be a bit harder because the pokemon won't stop moving, but there are ways to make it easier to take pictures. The apples (or whatever they're called) are fun to hit pokemon with, it unlocks new movement, and all that. And overall it's a fun game. I will say it might lose it's focus after playing through it for the estimated 9 hours, so it's not a long game. Plus if you want you can print photos out using something else Instax has a thingy. Or if you want send the photos from your switch to your phone and use photo paper to print them.

I bought a Switch for this game because I loves the N64 original. Just as good as the original and surprisingly has pretty decent replay value. Have already put in over 10 hours on it just playing here and there.

Great game! It's super relaxing, and looks beautiful. It's got tons of replay value too. I definitely recommend this game especially if you're a Pokemon fan, and even if you're not, it's still lots of fun.

I've been playing the Pokemon games since Red/Blue first came out, but I didn't have the correct console to play the original Pokemon Snap. I was very excited for the remake to finally be able to play the game I'd always wanted to but never had the chance to, and it was everything I was hoping for. The pacing of the main story makes it possible to progress through in a reasonable amount of time (it took me ~20 hours), but the level system and challenge tasks mean I am still finding new things even after playing the same route a dozen times. I am very happy I finally had the chance to play a version of Pokemon Snap, and I don't see myself running out of new things to discover any time soon.

Love this game! It really takes me back and has a lot to explore. Hopefully they'll have some DLC, because it's a little short. Beat the main missions in under 20 hours of play.
