Overall the unit is reasonably quiet for what it does and cools a small room pretty quickly and efficiently. I bought this to supplement a/c in my son's bedroom as it happens to be the hottest room in the house. You will need to get creative to figure out how to make the window vent piece fit and still keep the hot air out. I can't believe someone could not engineer something better to fit in the window, but......

This unit keeps my loft above the garage cool during the hottest days of the summer. It is relatively quiet and brings down the temperature quickly. My only complaint is the way the exhaust window plate mounts to the window. Out of the box it does not seal around the window (which lets in outside air). I wish the unit came with mounting hardware for the window exhaust plate. It was extra material and a trip that should have been included.

The portable ac unit met my expectations. It is easy to move around and cools an upstairs area of two large bedrooms well. I like that I can use it in another area if desired. Delivery to store was prompt and I was notified the day it arrived. Pick up was a little confusing for a new employee at the store, but all went well once she found help from a peer.

This is the second Portable a/c we've bought and our first New Air Much quieter and takes up less floor space!

If I had known it needed to vent out a window I would have never purchased. I would have just purchased a window unit!

Ok, I need to read the description better but you have to vent this out your window. Good deal and high reviews. Never used it.

Excellent purchase for use for anything but while sleeping. Both air output settings are too high & too loud. There needs to be a third, sleep, setting which is much lower/quieter.

This is a nice unit, it cools well and is considerably quieter than other units. Like the size and the options. Only problem is the window slat that vents the unit, the hole should be a little hight, the hose from the unit does not have room to snap completely in because of the lip on the window.

I set this up in two different 180 square foot rooms. The first was more exposed to the sun, so I decided to try the second as it had only a small window facing the carport. Even in this second room the unit never cooled the room to below the low 80s, nowhere near the default 74 degrees.

Not satisfied with the quality, got it running for 5 hours and room temperature never get down, returned it to store

My bedroom is super hot and hasthose rectangular window that slide side to side so this works perfectly.

I purchased this as a Deal of the Day for a 15x20 bedroom, smaller than the listed room capacity. Set up was relatively easy, though I had to adapt the window exhaust as the included piece was not long enough for my window. The unit does bring the temperature down to about 81-83, but runs continuously during the day and never gets down to the default 74 degrees. It might work in a much smaller room, but not for the room size listed. Also, it leaves the room more humid than expected.
