The fan blows great and its cold. Its bit loud but not bad my son sleeps with it on. Bad part is it leaks at the bottom when its on cooler. That's why gave only4 stars.

This tower fan is the best fan I have. You can add ice water to make it cooler. The fan doesn’t rotate but oscillating. When you open it right from the box, you don’t have to screw anything. It is ready to use once out of the box. Also, you are able to clean filter. This is an easy to use fan. Cons: button is a bit loud when you press any of the buttons

I think this a a well made fan. I have not used it as a swamp cooler yet since we’re having some mild climate. Will definitely use it as a cooler in the summer. It’s noisier than expected but if it cools well then I can compromise for comfort over noise.

I now own 2 of these fans. To date, I have used the fan only, but am very pleased with my purchases. I like knowing I can add the ice pack or ice cubes should the need arise. The fans are slim, attractive, and seem to actually cool better than my older pedestal fans. Remote control is also a nice feature.

I tested a few fans and cooling fans before settling on the NewAir - 1-Gal. Evaporative Cooling Fan. I live in Los Angeles so the Summer can get really dry and hot. The unit is pretty silent and it moves a lot of air. The swing function distributes the air in the room. There's 3 speeds and sometimes the middle one will do. The cooling option does make the air cooler. There's an additional ice bottle to add to the water. Remember it's not an AC, but it will take the heat off. I use it in my 300sq. ft. studio where I have no insulation and only one window. I was unable to work there in the Summer. It does the job!

I have used only the fan so far. I have not tried out the evaporative cooling or the humidifier yet, but expect they will work as well as the fan does. I am very pleased with my purchase. Am considering buying another one. Shipping was very fast also.

Good fan, strong with many cool features like nature mode. But I dont like the water cooling part. Only because you constantly have to clean it and I collects mold from the water. But if you dont do that than a great buy!

I live in one of the hottest parts of Texas and this fan keep my bedroom fresh, a word of advice don’t fill up the water tank all the way, only whatever you feel is right, cause I filled it and didn’t use the water and it went a smelly but other then that good fan.

This fan is Norling great as a fan, alright as a Collings unit. Main concern being that it is on the noiceier side.

Its a good fan and it dies have it so you can add ice or ice pack to the tank. But its no ac like product. The fan is strong and everything on the fan part of it is really nice. Plus the humidifier help to. But if you're looking for an ac product dont buy this.

I recently purchased this fan for the summer. It’s a strong fan that blows cool air. There is an option for much more cooler but have not tried it yet, but so far this fan is pretty great.

The fan works well, and has been useful in my bedroom on hot nights. It circulates a lot of air. The evaporative feature is fine, but doesn't cool the air much. I'm still very happy with the unit as a whole.

This is a good fan to use when it's mid 80's or to use along with an air conditioner.

Needed something for an upstairs apartment to keep it cool

It’s a great swamp cooler if your only trying to cool a small bedroom. I’d recommend filling the thing with ice for best results.
