Haven't had the opportunity to play this game yet, because my kids are too busy playing it all the time. Watched them play it a few times and love the graphics and realism.

What can you say...EA nails it again! Graphics are great game play is undeniably the best...no one will ever make a better hockey game for console

DOTD was under $10 so I grabbed it to try for that price.

Very good game, online play is fun. You can choose between a game or shootout mode. Moves are a little difficult to perform and if you have 30 shots and they have 4 they can still win based purely on 1 breakaway

1st of all, the work in progress is me. I'm still trying to get the hang of the controls because there are multiple options to choose for your controller scheme and how it fits you. The last NHL game I bought was over a decade ago, so I am trying to adjust with obviously so many changes and whatnot. From my limited experience with this game I'd have to say it's been fun and frustrating. I haven't quite got the handle on defense yet, but I will get there. I can't wait to go into the career and world cup modes, but right now I'm playing strictly exhibition games, lol. Buy this without worry if you haven't purchased a hockey game in quite a while. This won't disappoint!

Good game I like the movement and finesse available with the selection of shots. Graphics are good.

Wish EA would correct the AI for goaltending and defense. Otherwise, it’s a great game.

Every year I buy this video game for my son. Every year you know what your getting with this game.

Controls are easy. Also like the fact that you can go back to classic controls. Lots to do in game.

Very fun for online gameplay, the controls are similar to previous years and they fixed the problem that wouldn't let you save your team strategies from game to game.

This game plays great and fun for any hockey fan. It plays and looks a lot like NHL 16 with some minor tweaks so may not be worth the upgrade from that.

NHL 17 is a great improvement from 16. Much more customization options on gameplay.

This is my 5th NHL game after the previous years. They have updated so much in the game from player motions to the Ultimate league. It has changed very dramatically. The game play is a little slower then previous years as the players are actually different from their ratings, so if they are rated FAST as in 90+ they will be much faster in the game than a player ranked 80+, overall great game!

Always an annual buy for me. Easily one of the most addicting sports games out. Solid gameply, great online multiplayer, and graphics are outstanding.
