It's a different kind of game that kind of changes throughout. But it is fun visually stunning like studio ghibli. The story seems to be ok it depends on the player. But over all it's great and worth a buy.

So much incredible stuff included in this box and I got it like half off at Best Buy. So glad I picked it up and the game is awesome just like the first.

I'd give this game a 5/10 I've played the first one This is coming from someone who's played many FF games (X being the best and 13 the worse) Persona 5 was my first of its kind and I think that game is the best JRPG of the newer generation. Here are the reasons I really disliked Ni No Kuni 2. The first one had an amazing story, amazing sound track, graphics, characters, VOICE ACTING. Many complained about the Pokemon style battle, at first we weren't a fan, however, I got used to it and was fine with it. I've also played many Pokemon games in the past. My wife played the game while I fought the bosses and also did some grinding to level up. This game lacked almost everything. I really don't get how people think this game has a good story, it's not even a decent story. It starts out fine but then falls flat and makes no sense. It forces events. You're doing fetch quests almost the entire game. The battle becomes a hack and slash and gets repetitive over time. There's no strategy involved on who to pick for your party. Everyone's attacks are pretty much the same. There's no good reason for anyone to join your party but they just decide to anyways. Lack of voice acting takes you out of the experience. I spent about 50 hours and beat this game only because it still had a charm to it from the first and the battle was easy. As the game kept going, it just kept bugging me more and more of how much they messed up. Lofty (Drippys counterpart) is so pointless in this game and barely talks, he isn't useful at all. I hope this is not the new standards for JRPGs because this game lacked so much. My wife usually loves watching JRPG games or playing thru some of them, this is one game she didn't bother watching because there wasn't really a story and the lack of voice acting was annoying. Way too much text to read, I ended up skipping a bunch since it was really boring. I just don't get how anyone could give this game a 10/10 or even an 8 Persona 5 is a 10 This is a solid 5 PS...I bought the collectors edition...yay

been a huge fan of the series, and was super excited to hear about the 2nd one. as a jrpg i think its solid. i'm a fan of jrpgs, but still limited, but the first felt fresh enough to get me into it.

Never played the firs Ni No Kuni but from playing you don't need to. Its like playing a Studio Ghibly Film and with a splash of Final Fantasy. Must own for any JRPG fans.

Ni No Kuni 2 is a great game, I bought the first Ni No Kuni when it came out. The story is different the collector's edition come with lots of cool new items.

You will love the graphics on this game. My wife has told me at least a dozen times to turn off my cartoon. She doesn't believe me that it's a video game!!!

If you love the first ni no kuni you will love the second one it’s different from the first one but still have the same great charm from the first one

Beautiful game with very charming characters and environments. My only complaint is that it's just a bit too easy, but that does make it great for younger players.

Its a sequel to Ni No Kuni, one of the great modern JRPGs. If you have been craving the JRPG golden age from the 90s and aughts, this is it.

I can't say that the extras included in this were worth it. The diorama was very boring and I would have been better off just buying the game by itself.

This game is a blast. Great story. Though not as good as the first. I love this world and can’t wait to go back.

I really enjoyed the first game and so I bought the collector, comes with bunch of stuff even the season pass, love the game so far!

The items included in the collector's edition was worth the price I have always enjoyed the collector's editions made by Bandai Namco. The quality of the statue is solid and the additional extras are great. The game itself is an improvement to the original, in the sense that it is faster paced and more involved. The game does not have as many animated scenes as compared to the first game but overall it is a good game.

Bought the first one for my wife and she love it so not gonna miss this one.

So much to go through this game, just a good RPG game for the PS4. Nice well designed characters, music and boss battles.

If you’re fan of original ni no kuni you will definitely fall in love with this game as well
