Not the game I wanted. Was missing something from Ni No Kuni. It's a great game for a lot of people, not a great game for hardcore gamers. I loved the first one though, so I feel like this one missed it's mark somewhere.

It’s a really cute game but I got bored with the redundancy and the consistant requirement to fight yet another foe to move around the map

Summary says it all. It's easy to pick up and it does entertain me for the most part but the story is weak and leaves a lot to be desired.

The game is great, but the soundtrack disc has 4 tracks. If you are purchasing for the bonus disc, I recommend you buy the regular copy.

The game is alright, but the "premium" edition doesn't include the season pass. That's just a pain.

Not very challenging but it's a solid RPG. Wouldn't buy it outside of a sale.

It's good, but missing the heart that the original had, gameplay is also too easy.

I was so excited for this game and it’s just simply not very good. Lacks all of the charm of the original.

Ni no Kuni is Still Amazing

First and foremost, the game is superb. If you're a fan of the first then it's a no brainer. What was originally said about the first game is still true for this one, it feels as if you're playing a Ghibli movie and it's just as excellent. I've sunk many hours into the game and it keeps bringing me back into it. From the ability to grow your kingdom, the engaging battle mechanics to the intriguing story, there's nothing that this game falls short on. And don't fret if you didn't play the first one. The game is entirely insular, similar to how Final Fantasy games. Speaking of which, much like Final Fantasy I truly hope that Ni no Kuni become's Level-5's Final Fantasy and that there will be a 3rd game in the future with many more to follow. I highly recommend this to any fan of Ghibli films, JRPG enthusiasts or those that want to try a game that's a bit different from traditional RPGs.

This game is worse that the first

This game is worse that the first. And has numerous issues such as the lack of voice acted dialog, simplistic easiness during combat, and bland lifeless over-world.
This sequel is missing the charm of the first NiNoKuni and is a prime example why you should not listen to critics if you are a developer. You can go overboard and have a failure of a product like NiNoKuni 2.
