Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the fun and varied gameplay, engaging story, and fantastic music in Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Many appreciate the game's beautiful art style and the additional features included in premium editions. While some found the game a bit easy, the kingdom building aspect is also frequently praised. A few players noted changes to the battle system from the previous game.

They open the world so early on, and then you really get to decide your own adventure. Graphics are really cute and the game play is versatile, You can concentrate on the main story or take your time to explore the many side adventures.

I did not play the first one. I was originally hesitant to jump on this after reading several reviews criticizing how it was worse than the first. However I was surprised on how fun it was. Recommend for RPG fans.

Good, not great for reasons not listed. Targeting a younger audience than I isn't necessary a bad thing, but wish I would have lowered my expectations slightly, especially after hearing grand things about the first one that I missed.

This game is great the only issue I have with it is the lack of difficulty. Though new patches have added a hard mode. Also there is new game content for all users and a story add on coming in January 2019.

Thrust into this familar but new world of Ding Dong Dell, Ni no Kuni II is a wonderful sequel to the first title and feels alot like playing a Studio Ghibli movie. Worth the asking price.

Really wanted to love and cherish this game but just something big was lacking and it's hard to pinpoint what. There is so little voiceover that it becomes hard to really get a feel for the characters and get to know their personalities like in the first game. The story itself isn't terrible but its very childish and simple, the main character is your typical super super good guy/can do no wrong/sees no bad, it's a little cheesy. Aside from that, the combat is fun hack and slash and there are tons of weapons and armor to look forward to getting. Not to mention it is truly one of the best looking games on the system

I was waiting with anticipation for this. The world is just as detailed and beautiful as Ni No Kuni. Combat is much better, although a bit too easy. Graphics are impressive and really bring the game to life.

This is simple, charming RPG that emphasizes it's alluring world and characters more than a difficult, combat oriented battle system. The premium edition comes with excellent packaging as well.

Has amazing and magical graphics/world building mixed with a lot of character and heart. A fun combat system and adorable characters, if you are a fun of the first game or Studio Ghibli than this game is for you.

Ni no kuni 2 was one of my most anticipated games this year. This premium edition is a great addition to any collector's collection. The steelbook case is beautiful and the game is a blast.

I loved the first game and absence of Studio Ghibli's involvement for the sequel is a disappointment. Still, its a decent game, with improved combat, great visuals and some good gameplay additions.

I'm glad this one switched to real time combat. The game plays well, looks amazing, and sounds wonderful. The included steel case and extras made this a really good deal.

I normally hesitate to buy premium editions because most aren't worth the extra money, but this is one of the few where I felt it was truly worth it. The steelbook is really nice and features vibrant artwork on both sides. The DLC weapons aren't necessary but give a nice bonus in the early fights of the game. The soundtrack included on the CD is nice to have, especially because this game has amazing music! Overall, definitely worth it, and a very fun and vibrant game.

If you loved the first one, you'll love this one. This definitely plays like a current gen game, it just has a few weird little modes I felt were unnecessary.
