Great game if you are a fan of Nier Automata. This version is more in line with what Japan got with the initial release of the game on PS3 as well, so even if you played the original version, there is something new for you here.

If you are a fan of the original version of NieR Replicant for Playstation 3, or someone new to the series, this game is worth the purchase. Fast paced combat and an amazing storyline makes this another great JRPG to add to your collection.

An incredible remaster of a game that was already fantastic. You will be hard-pressed to find another game that has the guts to do what NieR Replicant does. This has some of the best storytelling I have ever experienced in any video game.

As a Final Fantasy fan, I picked up this game because it was made by the same company and I wanted to explore more of the games made. After playing, Nier Replicant became one of my favorite games. I definitely recommend to play.

When Nier: Automata was first released in the west alot of folks didn't know it actually was the 2nd Nier game. Nier Replicant is actually a remake/remaster of Nier: Replicant which was only released in Japan for the PS3.

This is based on the original Japanese release North America never got. On top of that, the gameplay was completely overhauled to play the best it's ever been. The definitive way to experience the original Nier.

Great game & story. The improved gameplay is a big bonus since I came from Nier Automata first. The graphics bump really shines and the game looks beautiful. Since this is more of a remaster, the outdated level design is apparent. And the control configuration is not fully customizable, which is annoying. I have not beat the game yet, but I look forward to it.

Was waiting for this for awhile and have to say it didn't disappoint! Some parts are a little repetitive in game play, but it's a hack n slash of sorts so nothing unexpected if you know what you're jumping into. Great game though!

A spectacular 1.5 upgrade to a great game. The combat is improved (but still not platinum/automata levels of complex variety) - but everything about this game is worthwhile from top to bottom. Lots of drama though, beware.

Any fans of the NieR series will really love NieR Replicant. I first jumped onto the series with NieR Automata which blew me away, this one did just the same. Love love love the story and music!

It's NieR, but with good combat and way 'prettier' visuals. Still keeps the same story and characters we all know and love in tact, while keeping the general washed out and post-post apocalypse aesthetic firmly intact.

This game was not what i was expecting in a good way. it play similar nier automata. similar combat, same game world just in a different time. overall pretty good game

I bought this game when it first came out on ps3. It’s one of my favorite games on the PlayStation 3. The story and backstory is amazing. 5 different endings and lots of content to do. Give this one a try.

The music is stunning. Also, this is the PS3 Nier that was released in Japan not the US version 10 years ago on the PS3. Back in the PS3 days, US and Japan got totally different games.

Great story that doesn't overstay it's welcome. The combat has been changed for the better from the original, more fluid and weighty. If you played Automata and loved it, you'll definitely love this game!

This game is a great prequel to Nier: Automata and a remarkable remake of the original game. I highly recommend a play-through of this game if you are a NieR fan.
