We were told by a Best Buy rep that this DVR was comparable to the Swann DVR. But let me tell you, I will not recommend night owl to anyone. You can only view 24 hours. Once midnight hits you lose whatever happened during the day. The quality is bad, especially at night. I’m sure everyone is different but my this is my opinion.
