    Review on Nikon Z6

Extremely sharp and quiet focusing, has a nice "character" that really good lenses have, IMHO it punches above it's weight. I took some Christmas portraits with my Fuji X100V (a very strong portrait camera) and my Z6 with this lens and this was noticeably better...which is saying something.

This standard Z lens gives me perfect & crisp digital image files to me. It works grast with Z8. Thanks Bestbuy.

Great lens. May not be a 'prime' lens, but who really can afford a prime lens when it cost more than the camera? Anyway, I got some great pictures for a contest and my photo was selected as a semi-finalist. Awesome results from this little 50mm. Using a Nikon Z6 really adds to the quality of the photos. Great lens for landscape!

Ultra sharp. After owning 3 different generations of 50mm lenses for Nikon, this one is by far the best though it is large.

The best 50mm I have ever owned. I understand some people wish it was smaller or 1.4, but I have owned many 50mm F1.4 from multiple brands and none were sharp wide open. Most weren't even as sharp stopped down as this is at F1.8. Focus is quick and quiet as well. Love the new style of the S line too

Perfect complement to my Nikon 28mm f2.8 and 24-70mm f4 S. Can't wait for Spring and Summer. Not much to photograph in Cincinnati in the Winter.

The Nikon 50mm has always been a go to lens with my older F mount system. I have enjoyed using this new 50mm Z mount lens. Switching over to Z mount for the 50mm is worth doing.

I have shot Nikon lens for over 45 years. The Z lens has to be one of the sharpest I’ve ever owned. Fast focus, even in continuous focus mode. Glad I’ve made the change. I also own the FTZ adapter with prime lens from my D750 camera. They are good but not as fast or sharp as my Z lens.

One of the best 50mm lenses I have ever used. The bokeh you get from this lens is on point with lenses much higher in price.

The Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens has always been my favorite lens. I have a 50mm 1.8D that I used with my D610 but now that I have the Nikon Z5 I decided to get the Z 50mm and it has not disappointed. It's definitely well worth the purchase.

I bought my Z6 with the 24-70 f4, and will continue to use that lens in certain conditions. But I missed my 50mm prime, so grabbed this one on sale. It’s really as good as all the reviews say. I’m very happy with the purchase!

Extremely sharp photos with precise focusing mechanism. Medium telephoto prime focal length lens of 85 millimeters is not common but is highly useful. Small lens size balances well when attached to camera.

This is the sharpest lens that I’ve ever used. Also, it is silent and has fast AF. Honestly, I sold my legacy glass and purchased the 35mm Z lens as well. The color renditions are beautiful. I’m all in on the Z Mount lens. I will be picking up the 24mm when it comes out!

I decided to return my F mount 50mm f/1.8 lens from Nikon and go with the native Z mount. I don't regret it at all! This lens is a beast! I have shot portraits and landscapes with this lens and it shines in every setting.
